The serving speed at this small shop is very fast. One of the fastest I would say. Partly because the dish is very simple. However, they didn't just simply cook the udon and serve it to you. All this udon remained its good quality. For this udon with egg, although it is not temago Ibsen, the egg still remain the soft. It reminds me of the chilli pan mee. Once you mixed the egg yolk together, the noodle immidietly has the fresh egg smell. It is very sweet.

The name Sanuki Udon is derived when they claim that they produced udon originated in the Sanuki province (Kagawa prefecture in Japan). They open daily for lunch and dinner. Edamame is at RM3 only while the fried chicken is RM6. The chicken is quite tiny but i dont mind because it is served hot and crispy! Yummy but cheap dinner I had there.

Found out this place from my colleague. If you are looking for a place which serves nice udon without over pay the price, this is the place you should come. The restaurant is located at middle of housing area. It is still packed with people. The soup of udon is very clear and sweet. The udon is very nice. The dish itself look very simple but everything is nice. People always say simple is the best. Without any presentation on food, the taste itself get loyalty customers.

Kagawa Prefecture is well known for its' wheat noodles (Sanuki Udon) and Taman Desa is also famous for Sanuki Udon too. A lot of locals staying around the area talks about it and I was curious to see what's the fuss. So my girlfriend and I went to this hidden gem located in a quiet neighbourhood shoplot in Taman Bukit Desa. It was packed by people during lunch hours. It was packed by people during lunch hours. When we got our seats, we order Udon with Egg, Udon Soup, Kakiage and Karaage (Chicken). The texture of the udon is thick but smooth. The kakiage is fried to crisp and it tastes really good when dipped into mayonnaise mixed together with wasabi. Yes, you heard that right!

The chicken karaage was juicy, crispy and meaty. Regretted we have no chance to try on the shiitake yakitori, momo (leg meat) yakitori, kawa (skin) yakitori and a few others. It is only available in the evening after 6pm. Surely I will go back again for the yakitori's. Did I mention that the green tea only cost RM1 and it can be refill?
