Signature Dishes
I like having my malay mixed rice at Sambal Hijau, because they have a large selection of dishes, at reasonable prices. I like their tempeh masak kicap - healthy high-fibre tempeh tastes slightly sourish and nutty, and the kicap is more sweet than salty.French beans friend with egg for more fibre and protein with a briny flavour. Pair all up with a piece of ayam kurma for my meat.

Sambal Hijau is just located down the condominium that I live, so it is really convenient for me to visit. I always come here when I am hungry, even in the midnight, they usually open until two a.m. They serve the typical Malay cuisines, I would say that their tastes are good, just the nasi campur they sell in the afternoon is a bit overpriced. And during afternoon time, they only serve nasi campur. Their nasi goreng tomyam on the other hand is very worth trying, only Rm4.50 and the portion is not small at all. A lot of seafood as well, worth the price!
