I would suggest to share this pasta with 2 person, if not you will feel bore toward the end. As for the price, although is slighty high, but i thin is worth the money with the quality of food and the nice enviroment . One minus point about this restaurant is the waiter attitude. I felt the waiters here are not well-trained. Overall I think the pasta is fantastic, sure will visit this restaurant again.

I have heard much about the soft shell crab pasta in Plan b. Pasta sounded too heavy, so we didn't want that. Also, we wanted to have some greens to balance out the carbs. The soft shell crab salad took a while, but that was fine. The watercress leaves were definitely very fresh, and gave our palate a good cleansing. There were slices of Japanese cucumber, sliced lengthwise, and they were long! We had to curl them up before consuming. A couple of slices of green apples were hidden underneath all those leaves, which were very ripe and gave the salad a tart flavour. The star, soft shell crab was slightly below expectations. Although it is freshly fried, and very crunchy, somehow it doesn't taste very fresh. It had a fishy taste to it, which was slightly masked by the orange mayonnaise sauce and chilli flakes. Wifey enjoyed it very much, but for me, just so-so. Acceptable, but not great. Pricetag of RM20 didn't help either.

Wifey ordered the turkey ham omelette which came in a jiffy. It looked quite ordinary, with a bland yellow colouring, served on a bed of toast. However, the taste is nothing of the sort. Within the omelette, there were loads of spinach, sauteed mushrooms and parmesan cheese hidden. Every bite was perfection. It was also quite light on the stomach. Not too salty, it was simply ambrosial. Priced at RM19, it was well worth the amount paid.

But since we were feeling very empty, we decided to head out to Paradigm Mall to visit Plan b, and to have a hearty breakfast, specifically their breakfast platter. When we reached there at about 1130am, the place was already very full. The indoor seating, which can sit about 50 people was also packed full to the brim, and we were ushered to the alfresco dining area, which was able to accommodate another 20 people or so. We were seated right in front of the dessert counter, which was extremely tempting.

Nevertheless, wifey and I agreed that we must have our main meals before gorging into dessert. So we ordered the breakfast platter. We got to choose how we wanted the eggs, either poached, fried, sunny-side-up or scrambled. I prefer my eggs sunny-side-up, and we also order the cappucino, which by the way could either be long black or macchiato, depending on your preference. While waiting, the waiter served us some water, in which he poured from a brown bottle. Very creative use of recycled products, I must say.

After waiting for a while, and I thought that the service was pretty quick, considering the amount of customers, my breakfast platter came. Yaay!

The portion is big, but not humongously so, and I was able to finish it, although wifey did pick on some of it. From the top, there was my sunny side up, served on a piece of toasted bread, ciabatta I believe. The eggs seemed quite small, by the looks of the yolks, but tasted delicious all the same. The yolks were still runny, while the white are perfectly done. The toasted bread was crunchy on the crust and soft in the middle, just the way I like it. Moving on towards the right is the grilled turkey ham. It has some brown lines on it, indicating that it is well grilled, but still juicy. Slightly salty, it goes well with the toast. The chicken sausage was succulent, though I would still prefer pork ones. Too bad they don't serve pork, as it is a halal restaurant. The sausage was also well grilled with the brown lines present. The triangular hash brown was definitely freshly fried, as it is very crunchy in the outer part, and piping hot in the inner part. The baked beans were so-so, as I have tasted better. The beans seemed to be falling apart, not as whole as I would like it to be. The star definitely has to be the sauteed mushrooms. Savoury and balsamic, each piece oozes with sweet mushroom taste. The sauteed cherry tomatoes were also quite nice. Tangy and juicy, it cleanses the palate between each bites, which allows us to fully taste the rest of the platter. A cup of orange juice was part of the set.

A small cup, but sufficient. Pure orange taste, with bits of pulp in it convinced me that it is freshly squeezed. My cappucino's foam top was nicely decorated to resemble a fern, which I was sorry to destroy when I added in sugar and stirred.

Nothing like a good cup of joe after a heavy meal. It comes with a slice of almond biscotti, which we enjoyed immensely. While the dessert is a-calling, regretfully the stomach cannot handle any more, so had to give the dessert a pass. Will definitely order the next time. All in all, great food in a great place.

All the food taste great! Well, with the exception of the burger. The burger was somehow had a very hard texture on the patty. So *buzzzz*. The salad was really good, but I don't like the bitterness of the vege, it has a weird aroma too. But it is still passable with the orange sauce and oranges and the pumpkin seeds. I've tried the same pasta twice, and it is still the same, TASTY. Will try the others next time! Oh, if you think it's kinda pricey for one of each meal. It's actually is not, if y

It's actually is not, if you consider how big the portion is. The salad and the spaghetti is in a quite big portion. Plus the pasta, they served us a crab. Four of us shared the foods. The burger on the other hand, no. Don't. Just don't.

I wanted something simple for dinner, hence I ordered the turkey sandwich. The food took a while to come, but that was fine as I had all the time in the world. The portion is actually quite big, with two slices of thick toast and a huge piece of turkey meat in the middle. There were also a cup of chips given. The chips had a few types including fried yam chips, fried sweet potato chips as well as fried potato chips. It was a bit hard to chew, as they were overly crunchy. The restaurant ambience was kind of dark, so it was quite difficult to take a good picture. They have quite a number of tables in the restaurant and some outside for al fresco dining/smoking area as well. Overall, a nice restaurant to visit with friends.

Eggs Ben @ RM17.00I like the presentation and the yellow hollandaise sauce looks so delicious, at first i thought the egg yolk was burst. It's top with poached eggs, succulent slow-roasted portobello mushroom and fresh arugula heaped on a toasted english muffin. The portobello mushroom is smooth and springy. I like the poached egg that is just soft and melted egg yolk is delicious. The english muffin is very yummy with the strong toasted aroma.

Wild mushroom soup @ RM11.00The environment here is quite romantic due to the dim lights. The wild mushroom soup was served in a big bowl. Is best to share between 2 pax, if not it will be too full for the meal. The soup is so thick and creamy. Lots of chunky mushroom in it and is some herbs for flavouring too. Missed the toasted bread that they don't provide in Plan B.

Coffee Latte @ RM8.00 Waiting for the food to be served here is a little long however there are lots of magazines for you to spare your time while waiting. The coffee latte is served with bottle of brown sugar. Can add in with my preference instead of sugar in sachets. The latte is milk and very smooth to drink, i like the coffee fragrance that left in my mouth after drinking. Wish to have a bigger cup instead.

I am always tempted by their pouched eggs that come together with several dishes, and I was expecting to order something with a pouched egg to satisfy my craving, only to realize that they are only available until 6.00pm daily. Such a disappointment!

Somehow, I found myself being impressed by the fact that Plan B uses some of the appliances that are commonly found in a laboratory or a surgical suite, including trays and the glass bottles for plain water. Not knowing initially what it was, I had a little shock when our plain water was served. Personally, I thought it was a brilliant and economical idea without having to waste anything.

By the way, here at Plan B, refillable plain water is always served upon placing your orders.

Ezy, who was not planning to have a proper meal, ordered Almond Toffee Bar to be shared among us.

From the photo above, you could clearly see that the almond pieces were compressed to a certain extent and mixed with toffee. It was ridiculously sweet, to be frank, but as a person who never fancies nuts or almonds, it tasted extraordinarily good, so good that I am already planning to order it again during my next visit.

This is highly recommended! Out of curiosity and greediness, we ordered a Flourless Chocolate Fudge Cake. Its texture was so different from any other cakes. It was extremely soft and it wasn't too sweet for the girls who have very sensitive sense of taste. Really flourless, I would say!

Nevertheless, do not try to inhale as you eat it, because the chocolate powder topped on the cake might choke you accidentally.

Kah Mun ordered a Rocky Road Bar and sort of regretted it later on. The upper part was filled with marshmallows and chocolate, while the bottom part was merely a piece of chocolate cake, made of cereals, according to Kah Mun. I had one without marshmallows, and stopped eating the second piece of it ever since. Get it?

Here comes my meal of the night! I had Wild Mushrooms under the category of pastas. Using linguine, it was cooked together with different types of mushrooms and scented with truffle oil and thyme. I was surprised to see lemon in it, making it a unique kind of pasta. Despite so, the chef did not cook it well enough. The mushrooms hidden underneath were too salty to be eaten, although I ended up forcing myself to finish everything on my plate. If you are never afraid of the saltiness, then you should go for it.

Adding the two sandwiches ordered by Rou Han and Kah Mun, namely Rare Roast Beef Sandwich and The Loaded Club Sandwich, we had paid a total of RM99.75, which was equivalent to approximately RM24.94 per person. Considering the food quality and the environment provided, the money was certainly worth every penny. We were shooed though, merely because it was approaching their closing time, and we didn't quite like it because no one loves to be rushed. I will definitely visit the one at Publika one day, because of the positive comments I have been receiving all the while.

How about you?
