Home Made salt Beef sandwich @ Plan B

This is another round going to Plan B, this time its for dinner. Now they have a buka puasa Set for 2 for only RM 89.90. The picture looks nice! May be i'll try that the next trip=)Napkins with the logo printed on it.I ordered watermelon juice rm 10. Freshly squeeze, all juices are served without sugar so you can really taste the sweetness from the real fruit. Very refreshing.For my main i ordered Home made salt beef sandwich. It comes with their home made chips, salad and the sandwich it self.

 This is the close up picture of the chips. Fried till crunchy, the chips are actually made from all kinds of potato and Yam. There are the normal potato, sweet orange potato, Japanese purple potato, and even yams. Once start eating, you can never stop!

 This is the salad that they give together with the sandwich. There are all kind of nuts together with the greens. the sauce is different with the normal salad sauce, i cant taste what it is but is has a Indian curry powder taste. Crunchy and nice!

 Last it would be the beef sandwich RM 21. Unlike other sandwiches that you ate outside, this this made from wholemeal bread, and it is steam not toasted! it makes the bread soft and warm. the beef is really tender with minimal seasoning. They also spread some mustard on the bread and it gives a tangy taste. They also give u half a pickle and i cut the pickle into thin slices and ate it with the bread! so nice.....

This is my 1st time visiting Paradigm Mall, and i headed here to watch a movie here. Before the movie me and my friend headed to Plan B for our lunch! This is my 1st time dining in Plan B, I've read so many review about this restaurant with the unique design and layout, i really am looking forward to my meal here!  This is the menu layout, simple yet gives you a very artistic feeling. Plan B is serves western food with some local delicacies. In the menu you can see from breakfast menus, to sandwiches, burgers, pastas and a lot more. On the menu, there is the design like a stamp and a slogan of "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade".

 The atmosphere of the restaurent is quite unique and vintage. There are several screens playing vintage movies, all furniture are in brown warm colour. They use a lot of black colour with the walss and some decorations to give it an edgy feeling.

 I ordered a latte RM8. Actually for RM8 i would aspect a rather taller or bigger glass. They serve in a short glass where normally restaurants serve sky juice in. The latte is served without sugar and they serve a separate cup of brown sugar. This way you can adjust the sweetness of the latte you wanted. The latte is milky with a scent of coffee, when you drink it, it give your stomuch a warm feeling.

 For my main i ordered a salad with chopped chicken RM20. I had heavy breakfast on that day, so i wanted something light. There are crunchy romaine lettuces, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, and they add in pears to give it a sweet taste. In the salad they also add in Crispy turkey bacon, chopped chicken breast and some Pungent blue cheese. It is actually a very big portion.
All of the ingredients goes well and it tasted really good.

I would try out more food here next time=)

Plan B is really a popular place, not only at Bangsar but also around Paradigm Mall. It is flocked with huge crowd during lunch and dinner hours on a Saturday. It is a very relaxing weekend with a cup of freshly brewed coffee there.This time I want to try their pasta instead, but it is quite disappointing because I waited for more than 20 minutes for one plate of spaghetti.  This time I want to try their pasta instead, but it is quite disappointing because I waited for more than 20 minutes for one plate of spaghetti. However, the taste of the pasta is delicious, not too sweet and sour, but the chunks of tomatoes are very flavourful with some herbs and spices tastes. The noodles are very springy and overall the taste is lightly sweet and healthy for me.

 While waiting for our orders to be taken, we were served some sky juice to quench our thirst first. The staff came after we waited awhile, yea, I mean really awhile……. So in the meantime, we just looked around this newly opened cafe under The B.I.G group, while snapping some pictures as well. The environment was OK and we found the bottle of sky juice pretty amusing as it reminded us those big, dark glass bottles that used to store acids during our Biology class, haha

 So finally, our long-awaited beverages came. We welcomed the creamy Butterscotch Milkshake, freshly squeezed Green Apple and Orange Juices. I personally love the smoothie very much! Been savoring butterscotch bakeries most of the time, but this was the first time to meet it in blended version
It tasted good and milky with acceptable level of sweetness. They did provide syrup along, but I would prefer to go without it. I do find it quite similar to Blended Magnolia Ice Cream! Hehe….

 Thereafter, joining us was Smoked Salmon Sandwich.
The whole meal bread itself was rustic and soft. You can literally see lots of nutritional seeds added to it. As for the filling part, the smoked salmon was rather fresh, and it came with mint yoghurt, arugula and capers, and then served alongside with home-made chips. The chips came in a variation of colors such as purple, orange and whitish; supposing were yam, sweet potato and tapioca respectively. When enjoying the sandwich, it did feel slightly citrusy. I guess must be due to the Yogurt

 Next, we have the menu from pasta selection. First to join us was Roasted Cherry Tomato Pomodoro. It was actually spaghettini dish with home-made sauce of tomatoes and fresh herbs tossed with fresh basil and Parmigiano-Reggiano. Amidst the sourish flavor, there was some sweetness hidden in those cherry tomatoes, and we practically love it.

 Ensued later was Marinara pasta. This spaghetti selection was actually tossed with herby vine- ripened tomato sauce, capers, fresh prawns and calamari. The squid was chewy and prawns were surprisingly large and succulent. Guess they must have imposed quite a rigid SOP on the seafood I supposed
