Having pitied the poor location of Penang Village's location at Great Eastern Mall in my previous review (which I believed contributed to their downfall); sadly it's the same old story with their restaurant at IOI Mall Puchong. When will they ever learned ? This time, their location is OUTSIDE of the mall. With no linking from inside the mall, patrons have to walk all the way outside before they reach. What a hassle!! No wonder they're always quiet. But luckily though their food's still good.. The Char Kuey Teow, Prawn Mee Rojak, Nasi Kerabu and Buttered Fried Prawn being my favorites. Yummy continue reading

We were undecided where to have lunch after movie last Sunday. We bump into this restaurant when mom spotted their set meals, kinda worth she said. Iced Cendol-Add on RM3.00 if you order the sets mealThe Cendol taste kinda weird because it do not have santan (coconut milk) taste but the you can see small pieces white cubes floating in the Cendol. We guess it is the santan but is not cooked properly that make it become like that. Not nice at all.Soya Cincau-RM3.90 Jasmine Tea-RM2.50Curry Chicken KapitanThe taste of the curry was not strong, very mild. Even the gravy was very watery. It is kinda disappointed as Nyonya food is famous for curry. Stir Fried Mix Vegetable with GarlicNothing special, normal mix vegetable we can find everywhere.Deep Fried Fish Fillet with Sweet and Sour SauceThis is the one I have to mention and put a thumb up. I like this dish very much even my family agree on it too. Firstly what is great to praise is that the fish fillet do not have the fishy smell which I always dislike. This mean that they pick the correct fish to cook and the fish is fresh. Second is the sauce-sweet and sour, enough sweet and enough sour to make the taste quite strong that you shouldn't taste the sauce by itself. This kind of sauce must be combined with rice to eat with, if not it will gave your tongue a trigger.Chicken Kerabu in Nyonya StyleThis Kerabu taste not bad but too much chilli padi in it that one bite make your tears rolling down. I personally like this dish, it is good appetiser before a meal.Anyway, no rice and drink are included in the sets meal. So for white rice, it costs RM2 a bowl. Besides, only service tax will be charge from total bill, no government tax. There are a few outlets in Malaysia and 3 outlets in Indonesia.
