Signature Dishes
A franchise of Oyster King was opened in Paradigm Mall, so hubby and I decided to go and try it out. We ordered a plate of fried oyster to share. The portion was medium, not too small. It was a bit salty, but nevertheless still OK. The oysters were fresh and juicy, however, they were rather small. I was expecting them to be bigger. The dish was full of eggs and flour, not that many oysters. Overall, just OK.

O Jian or better known as fried oyster is actually my favorite dishes. However, when it comes to this dish, it's really hard to find some good ones if i were to compare the quality i get from Penang. Nevertheless, here we have Oyster King, a sort of fast food chain mushrooming in town. I tried their fried oyster. Honestly, it was no where comparable to the one from Penang, but it was way better than the ones in Klang Valley. Taste wise, i think it was overly seasoned. Putting too much seasoning makes the fried oyster a bit too salty. I was really hoping to see some big, fat, juicy oysters in this dish. No, i did not get that. The oysters were still very fresh, and juicy, but not very big or fat. Just medium size. Like i said, better than many places. Too much egg and flour, not many oysters in it. I'm eating a lot of eggs and feel a bit overwhelmed. Hope to see more oysters in it, but i don't think that's gonna happen.
