The original mille crepe in nadeje is still the best, Thin layer of pancake alike, with cream in between. There are varieties of flavour to choose from. The environment of the place is good, however, during peak period, it may be short of seats. The mille crepe is not too sweet, great for tea break.There are chocolate chip crepe, green tea crepe, rum raisin crepe too. ;)

Nadeje is the famous crepe cake which started and sparked the whole crepe cake trend. Started in Malacca, and they then opened a branch here in KL. Since then, other bakeries and cafes have started serving them as well. But in my honest opinion, sometimes you can never beat the original crepe cake.The layers in the cake were thin and in between, yummy-licious cream is filled. One bite into it, and you can taste the softness of the cake and the cream bursting through the layers! Yummy!

Rum and Raisin Mille CrepeFinally, the long awaited Nadeje is in PJ town. Indeed it’s a very good news to us, KL folks here, as we could save the time from travelling all the way to Melaka itself I choose to have this Rum and Raisin Mille Crepe. Apart from mille crepe, Nadeje is also selling donuts too. I particularly enjoyed the gula Melaka topped donut as the gula Melaka was still sticky and gooey when I bite into the pastry. It was not overly sweet as I had expected and leaves a bittersweet aftertaste on the tongue. The donut had a dry but soft texture which reminds me of a sponge cake. I like how the gula Melaka syrup gets absorbed by the donut and melts in the mouth.

One of the best cake or some say dessert cafes in Malacca recently opened its door for business in Petaling Jaya. Instead of driving two hours down to Malacca to enjoy their heavenly millie crepe we can now do in Kuala Lumpur. I particularly enjoy the double chocolate mille crepe as you can taste the richness of the chocolate cream when you bite into the layers of cake.

We spotted this beautiful round shape dessert and it was the Nama Donut, in green tea taste. The donut was so beautiful i thought eating it will mess up its pretiness. Nevertheless, the donut has to be eaten. There is nice glossy glaze on top of the donut. The green tea donut was very aromatic. The green tea taste was not overpowering, and the red beans were sweet. The dough is slightly thick.

For a refreshing tangy flavor, we picked the mango yogurt mille crepe. The mango yogurt mille crepe was good, but not as good as the rum and raisin, and the banana chocolate mille crepe. I think the mango taste was not fragrant enough. However, the mango yogurt mille crepe is still tasty, just not too fantastic.The soft cream cheese was nice, it melts in the mouth
