The restaurant is decorated with antique style furniture and this retro-style furnishings remind me of the old days. You can choose your seat indoor or outdoor. The Prawn Mee we ordered is simply magnificent. The prawn is big and fresh, the soup is thick with aroma of prawn, and also comes with hard boiled egg and chicken slices. The Jawa Mee also finger licking good. The spicy slightly sweet curry-like gravy is delicious, garnished with a hard boiled egg, fried firm tofu (tau kwa), fried shallots and bean sprouts. Never forget on the tasty Lam Mee. The gravy which made from stock of prawns and chicken is very nice, garnished with a hard boiled egg, chicken and fried egg slices. Lobak of course is one of their speciality here. The chicken inside is really soft and the soy skin outside is really crispy adding texture to it. The cendol is simply cooling and refreshing after all the food. Although the food may be not exactly the same as Penang hawker food, but I think the food quite come up to par. If you are craving for Penang food, don't forget to come here.

This visit, I tried the Siam laksa. Siam Laksa is basically called Lemak Laksa in Penang which the soup is mainly more on the coconut millk rather than sour. The overall taste of it is good where there is a mixture of sour and lemak taste together. For ingredient wise, the ingredient is similar to the asam laksa except for the soup. Overall I can say the laksa is simply delighting

Asam Laksa- The simply Penang Asam Laksa can be find here. The asam laksa is simply alike Penang style where they comes with prawn paste and a thick Laksa Soup The portion was a large one as well. The taste is simply delighting but not much too sour compare to the original Penang Laksa. There are also plenty of ingredients in it as well.
