Little Cravings is located at the 1 Utama New Wing Lower Ground. The outlet is simply clean and the service was quite decent. In fact, it is the forerunner of its sister outlet Nyonya Colors.The mee rebus comes in a big bowl. We had made a taste here where the mee rebus is slightly thick in its gravy. The mee revus is served with the yellow noodles, taupok, a lime on top and some slice chillies with it. The portion is good enough to share for 2 if you are there for breakfast.Taste: 3/5Price: RM

突然想吃一些传统正宗的娘惹美食。然后我来到了这里。这间位于1U底楼的Little Cravings 算是Nyonyacolours的一间小分行。其中售卖的娘惹糕或许没有在nyonya colours的多，店面也比较小间，但其糕点及娘惹美食的品质绝对是一样好的。星期天我来到这里享受晚餐时，由于座位有限，所有位子都差不多被填满了。看来有许多喜欢娘惹美食的人都知道这个地方，尤其是像我父母那些老一辈的，更是对这里的食物赞不绝口。由于我对酸辣的食物特别喜欢，所以我为自己点了一个Thai Bee Hun 和ayam Rendang 。泰国米粉味道够浓，酸但不会太酸，非常开胃。上面还铺上一成薄薄的煎蛋和辣椒，无论是这么吃还是配着干咖喱鸡吃，都是一样美味。RENDANG Chicken(仁当鸡)呢有着香浓的rendang料，鸡很入味，煮得正刚好。这样一个套餐才RM9.80，而且你可以选者要配干咖喱鸡还是普通咖喱鸡，是一个很不错的选择。除了一些娘惹美食，这里最棒的还有传统的娘惹糕点。所有糕点都用非常传统的食谱制造，所以味道和传统的一样美味。味道和其外表一样好看又好吃。看着我都留口水了，不仅买了几个来解解

Little Cravings is a place that serves Malaysian food and snacks. Here you can get asam laksa, nasi lemak, toasts, sweet kuih, etc. One of my favorites is actually cucur udang. Cucur udang is a prawn fritter. The prawn fritter is deep fried with some onions and spring onions, and served with a sweet and spicy chili sauce. The prawn fritter was well seasoned. One of the signature dish at this restaurant is the Waxed Meat Rice. Their version is served with waxed sausage slices and mushroom and there were other waxed meat in the rice which gave it a very tasty flavor. The rice was fried to a brown color and it was fragrant but not too oily. There was lettuce served as garnishing which helps to minimise the oily feel. But I do find the rice was fried really well with it being not too oily like some restaurants.

One of the dishes I tried here was their signature claypot loh see fun or short tailed noodle. I find the taste quite acceptable and it has the right amount of seasoning which is quite important to make sure the noodles were flavored. The minced chicken meat were quite salty but it was a big pot of noodles so it was good once mixed with the noodles. Here there was no egg yolk as garnishing which I find binds it all better.

I find the Curry Laksa at this restaurant could be better. The curry gravy is a bit too thin and watery, as I like my curry a bit thicker and with creamier taste. The gravy was quite spicy for someone with low tolerance for spicy food. The dish came with crispy pork pieces, tau kwa, brinjals and french beans. I find the brinjal and beans too hard and the raw taste was still there. The pork pieces tasted a bit fat and funny taste.Overall I have had better curry laksa.
