Decorating the walls of the dining hall are hand painted paintings and artifacts of different kinds. Quite a eyeful to look at. The must try dish is the Grill Prawns. The prawns are butter flied before grilled and topped with seasonings and chilli powder. The prawns maintained its freshness and are succulent to the bite. It is superbly done with the right spiciness which triggers off the ‘addictive’ mode in the body.

Head over to Laziz where it serves authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. Located at the busy district of Solaris Mon’t Kiara, it has been here for almost three years. Start the meal with Addas Lentil, a traditional Middle Eastern soup. It is made from lentil, a kind of plant which is very popular in the Mediterranean countries. It tastes something like dhal and surprisingly it's quite good too. It's quite a thick soup and is best savoured while it’s still hot. Add on a dash of pepper to spice it up.

Walking into the restaurant, everything looked so fine and proper. It’s indeed a great place to savour good food.It wouldn’t be a Middle Eastern affair if there’s no Chicken Nasi Briyani. The basmati rice is well done fluffy and whole with herbs and spices which made it a flavourful dish. The half chicken is prepared and marinated well where the flavours are infused into the meat. This version of nasi briyani is lighter in flavours compared to the usual nasi biryani we had at Indian restaurants.

I didn’t know Middle Eastern food can be so exciting. Try the Laziz Mazza. It’s a combination of appetizers such as Hommos, Mutabal, Wara Ainab , Arabic Salad and Fetush Salad. It is served with pita bread. The hommos is a paste of chick peas blended with tahina paste topped with olive oil while the mutabal is a mash up of grilled egg plants and mixed with tahina paste. The Arabic salad is a green salad combined with a herb called ‘sumak’ while the fetush salad is a salad of romaine lettuce, tomatoes, white radish and zucchini, tossed with a light home-made dressing and crunchy Lebanese bread. Meanwhile, the wara ainab is actually grape leaves stuffed with rice and onion and possess a tangy flavour. It’s a special experience combining all of above and wrapped in the soft and fluffy pita bread. But, some of the dishes may be a little sourish as lemon juice is used often in their cooking.

Laziz is a restaurant serving Authentic Middle Eastern Cuisine. It has a very classy interior with friendly waiters. I feel so relaxed upon entering the restaurant. Here I sample some really juicy pieces of boneless chicken breast. They are grilled to perfection and what's special about it is the garlic sauce. So light yet flavourful! The pieces of chicken are quite soft and tender. Recommended if you want some premium middle eastern cuisine!

With a name like Laziz, meaning delicious, it sums up everything what the place has to offer you. It’s also a great and cosy place to have a quiet meal and hang out with friends and family.
