So, I guess if you just stuff a burger with whatever sounds delicious, it will be delicious, right? CHEESE! ONION RINGS! BEEF! Well, not always. Onion rings are very oily and mostly batter. Beef patty was not very tender or flavourful. Just big and messy but tastes normal. continue reading

Not a lot of people know about L.Table as it's nestled behind the Lavender Bakery at 1 Utama. The bakery itself is quite popular but the restaurant is not as busy. I had a meeting with a couple of friends a while ago and while researching the menu, I decided I would be ordering the Pappardelle with duck stroganoff. Not sure if the pasta is handmade in house, but it sure tasted very fresh, although a little too soft for my liking. But the duck stoganoff sauce was definitely made in house and I liked the tender bits of duck pairing with the piquancy of the tomato sauce. For RM22++, I think this was a decent pasta dish. Didn't get to try any other dishes there. The service was surprisingly slow, considering how empty the place was (only 3 tables when we were there, and the staff were more interested in cleaning tables and chairs instead). Hopefully they can look into the issue and improve themselves. continue reading
