This is naturally the signature yong tau foo item, so we cannot miss ordering some. The texture was really smooth, just like baby's skin. So far this is the smoothest white yong tau foo that I have had. The fish paste tasted alright with no significant fishy taste, but the texture was a little different from the usual ones I had, not as firm as others. The brinjal stuffed with fishpaste had better tasting and texture of fishpaste.

Other than braised items with gravy, we did not miss ordering some fried items to complete our meal. The fried dumpling here came with adequate portion of stuffed fishpaste and some finely chopped carrots if I'm not mistaken. Other than that, not much vegetables like sengkuang is found inside as I am hoping there were some of them, or other veggies like other places have. It was nicely seasoned, coupled with the nicely golden brown crispy outer layer, this is a really addictive stuff.

There's a few branch of Ipoh road Yong Tau Foo around Klang Valley and Petalign Jaya. I guess Ipoh Road is another place famous for Yong Tau foo besides Ampang so that's why they named it this name.Had my brunch with my bunch at this Ipoh road Yong Tau Foo SS2, PJ. As you can see in the picture, the Asam fish the most awesome dish. The Asam is sour and spicy enough and the fish is fresh too. A very good start of my meal. Their soup is clear and not too much ajinomoto too. The vege Yau Mak is abit

I guess many people are familiar with the name Ipoh Road Yong Tow Foo. Honestly, i have no idea whether they are under the same people operating or these people just like to adopt the name "Ipoh Road". Anyway, this corner shop near Taman Bahagia LRT station has previously been a not so good business coffee shop turned into Ipoh Road Yong Tow Foo. Yong Tow Foo in assorted ingredients. Here we have bitter gourd, white tofu and ladies fingers. Their young tow foo turned out to be quite good, i can easily rate them above average for this. Their stuffing was delicious, meaty, and big. The bitter gourd and ladies fingers were also very fresh. It says pork free, so i assume the stuffing is made of fish paste and chicken paste. Only down side is the food was not really hot, as though it was not straight out from the wok.

Chee cheoung fun. They also serve chee cheong fun in the restaurant. Look at the silky smooth, sesame seeds laden chee cheong fun. So yummylicious. I love chee cheoung fun. I will add the sweet "hoi sin" sauce and chilli sauce into the chee cheong fun. Sometimes, simple food give you more satisfaction over complicated restaurant dishes.

So, i will definitely come back again for their Yong Tow Foo and Chee Cheong Fun.
