My mother like to eat this Homi chicken Curry Puff. When i go to Midvalley Shopping Mall, I will buy a few pieces of their chicken curry puff. Their curry puff is really big and full of curry chicken and potato fillings. The curry chicken and potato filling is really tasty and delicious. The pastry outside is really crispy, of course it's slightly oily. We like this type of spiral curry puff, it's much more crispy if compare to another type of curry puff. It cost me RM2 for a piece of chicken puff. continue reading

After tired of walking in Mid Valley, I decided to buy Homi's chicken curry puff to eat as snack. Actually, Homi's original stall is in Restoran Hock Seng Two, SS2 but has now opened an outlet in The Gardens.Chicken Curry Puff (RM 2 or 2.50....can't remember but should be RM 2)A bit pricey compared to other places...probably because of the rent Homi had to pay in Mid Valley.....From the picture above, you can see that the curry puff is huge.Lot of fillings but I can't really taste the chicken meat....All I can taste is the potato......Maybe the chicken was minced finely....lol...........It would be better if egg were added in...Actually, I don't really fancy Homi's chicken curry puff. I find that the flaky pastry skin a bit oily and too many layers causing it to be too thick. But it is this layers of flaky skin which gives the curry puff's crispiness. continue reading

Nowadays, it seems so hard to find a huge and delicious curry puff but this is the one I like it so much. There are 3 types of curry puff selling here – sardine, chicken curry puff and curry puff without spicy. I always chose the original one which is the chicken curry puff. Super crispy and fluffy of the skin and consist diced chicken meat and generous amount of potatoes inside. Those potatoes were being marinated with rich and flavorful curry powder which makes it so tasty and juicy. You will definitely feel finger licking good in every single bite! continue reading
