The Thali set comprised of white rice, sambar, curry, 3 types of vegetable (cabbage with dhal, long bean and fennel), rasam, buttermilk, apam, pickles and a dessert.

Actually I like Indian food very much because the using of spices. I was here several times because their curry and sambar impressed me much.

The taste and flavor of curry and sambar was well-maintained during this visit. The only let down was the tad salty long bean.

This was my third visit to this restaurant. I ordered Thosai set with Keema (MYR 3.50). The set come with 2 pieces of Thosai, dhal, Keema (vegetarian minced meat), coconut chutney and mint chutney. The keema was not my cup of tea though cooked with curry as I don’t enjoy eating meat analog. I finished my 2 pieces of thosai with dhal and mint chutney. I like the mint chutney very much! It was not only minty but with pungent spiciness and a little taste like Hakka Lui Cha.

The Pancha Chapati set comprises of 2 pieces of chapatti, 1 curry, 1 sambar, 1 vege, 1 kottuu and 1 special rice.

The special rice -- vegetarian briyani rice was fluffy cooked. I loved it and hoped to have more. The chapattis were made in advance, so they were cool when served to me. They were dry and tough. I should get a freshly made next time.

Though there were no onion and garlic, the curry and sambar enhanced by lots of spices which gave them a good aroma and taste.

The vege of the day was a braised fennel. Hmm… it was the first time I ate the cooked fennel. It tasted sweet naturally.

They serve delicious vegetarian satay too (Dinner menu) which could inspire you to love vegetarian food! I will go back to try it.
