The lai fun which is being served in Good Good Asam Laksa is their home made lai fun. It is slightly different from the usual lai fun or those in the laksa stalls in Penang which is silky side but the lai fun is definitely something worth to try off.

Served in the hot bowl of soury based soup with scrumptious of sardine and other condiments with it, the asam laksa is pretty good to have. You may opt for other Penang food here too which includes the chee Cheong fun and more.
Price: RM 5.00

I was attracted by the signboard of this restaurant because it was featured in newspaper. So I decided to give it a try. Of course have to order the signature food here, Asam Laksa (RM5 nett). The soup is quite fresh, without fishlike smell. The sourness and spiciness are just right. The signature food of the restaurant indeed.I also ordered a Seafood Pan Mee RM5. This is so so poor. The Pan Mee are not freshly made, the texture is not chewy at all. The what so called seafood are all frozen food

This is so so poor. The Pan Mee are not freshly made, the texture is not chewy at all. The what so called seafood are all frozen food, like fishballs, fishpaste and crab filaments and a few pieces of cuttlefish.

There are 2 types of Chee Cheong Fun (RM2.50), traditional and curry. The texture is quite nice and smooth, but too bad it's not in hot condition. It would be nice if it's steamed before serving.

We also ordered some snacks to try. The Swiss Chicken Wings (RM5.90 for 3 pairs)are so nice and very recommended. It's very well marinated and very flavorful, perhaps has been braised for very long.

The fried beancurd skin (RM3.50) is quite not bad too, quite fresh. I can see a lot of people ordering it.

Overall, the food here are quite nice, except the seafood pan mee.

The place is quite crowded during weekend and it takes some time to find a parking place. The location is easy to look for. Overall, the food is satisfying. I prefer claypot ginger chicken and claypot curry chicken, rather than the signature food Penang Assam Laksa, it will taste better if it's more sour and spicier. The Osmanthus cake, a jelly-taste-like dessert taste good as well.
