Signature Dishes
One of the many highlights of a pasar malam is the street food, in which the 'lok lok' or the steamboat is quite popular with many people. The main attraction to this 'lok lok' stall is that it is a quick and delicious snack in which everybody can just cook it themselves and add the sauce that they want.Passing by the 'lok lok' truck tempted me as I am quite a big fan of steamboat. I took a pork meatball, which has 5 pieces of meatballs in a single stick. I proceeded to cook it in the boiling water, and after a while it was ready to be eaten! I added some peanut sauce to one of the meatball to give it a try.Surprisingly, the pork meatballs were nicer than I thought! It has a some peppery taste to the meatballs as it is fused with the pork taste and the peanut sauce as well. The peanut sauce was a bit diluted and bland, but it was spicy.For RM2 per stick, it was a little expensive but delicious!
