I'm in love with chili pan mee. One of the places selling decent chili pan mee is Face to Face. You can choose to have your noodle thicker or thinner. I prefer thinner ones. The pan mee was served quickly, with a very nice poached egg, crispy anchovies, braised minced pork meats, fried shallots and some scallions. Served separately is a bowl of clear soup. I usually break the egg yolk and mix the egg yolk into the noodle. Add the dry chili flakes according to your own preference. I like mine to be really spicy. The chili flakes here are quite spicy, sometimes it gives me some head spinning moment. The soup is average but serves as a good medium to toned down the spiciness of the chili pan mee. continue reading

Face to Face Noodle House is specialised in noodles especially pan mee. This chain restaurant has a few outlets in the Klang Valley. The noodles served in Face to Face Noodle House is simply awesome. There are 4 types of noodles to choose from: Thick, Thin, Pinch and Mee Sua. Only certain noodles are served for certain selection of noodles dish. They will state it clearly in the menu as well.House Specialty Pan Mee It came with a large amount of clear soup, minced meat, meatballs, veges as well as fried fish cakes. Noodles wise, it was flawless no matter in terms of firmness, smoothness or even chewiness. The hot sweet soup was simply amazing with an appetite stimulating function. I personally found that chili flakes went well with the soup. Credits to: EVERYDAY FOOD I LOVE continue reading
