Dubu dubu. The only halal Korean restaurant to date which I've known of. Not too sure if there's any other pork free Korean place as pork serves as one of the major ingredient in Korean cuisine. It was a Friday lunch and the queue was exceptionally long for all the restaurants. We finally decided to settle for this place as the table turnover was pretty fast. It took us 15 mins to get a seat which isn't too bad compared to the rest.Of course we had their lunch set. About RM 16.9 which comes with a meal and ban chan. Sadly if you want a refillable side dish (ban chan) you will have to top up RM 2.30. Not a viable option considering the ban chan doesn't taste as good either. A very normal side dish with not much varieties. I had the seafood ramyeon and it was burning hot and spicy. With every bite, my tongue was dipped in volcanic lava literally. The noodles wasn't cooked properly perhaps due to rush hour lunch, it was still hard but acceptable for me as I do not fancy soft and overlooked soggy noodles anyway. It comes with two prawns with some lalas as well. The broth was okay but the spiciness covers almost every other taste. All in all, it wasn't too bad of an experience. Just a note though, never visit the Mid Valley branch as the quality of food was really horrible. The one in Nu Sentral definitely serve better food. continue reading
