One of the side dishes offered by Brilliant Nasi Lemak House is this Pumpkin and Yam Puff. There are four in a portion, at RM4.80. When it was served, it was really hot. I have to let it cool down for at least 10 minutes before eating, if not i think my tongue and throat will get burnt. The puff was really nice. I think the crust is made with the yam, the filling is definitely the yellow color pumpkin. The yam was deep fried to crispy, but retained a mild taste of the yam. The pumpkin filling was soft and sweet, it even tasted a bit like sweet potato. continue reading
