来到新山还是很想念怡保口味的asam laksa，我问了老板后才知道是酸酸辣辣的asam laksa来的。这里的asam laksa真的是很浓郁，里面的鱼肉沙沙的没什么口感，上面有洋葱，黄梨，黄瓜丝等。我喜欢加上脆脆的腐竹在汤里，很好吃！

Fish Head Mee Hoon is the famous food at malaysia, i came here with my girl friend. Both of us also order fish head mee hoon at here. We love their soup, taste very sweet and light, although they have add milk into the soup. And their fried fish cube very crunchy because we ask boss separate the fish head and mee hoon for us. Therefore we can taste the original taste of fish head and soup.

上次试过空运的kolo mee后一直很想试试新鲜的沙捞越kolo 面。这里终于是我吃kolo面的捞脚地了，第一次来到看见招牌的大字我毫不犹豫的叫了一碗。我很喜欢kolo mee因为它的面是蛋蛋面吃起来很有咬劲而且它的猪肉碎和酱汁真的有几下功夫噢。

来到bkit indah这间茶室，你们应该试这里的鱼头米粉，我本人就觉得瞒不错的。他的汤很清甜并带点咸菜的咸，整个汤都是源汁原味跟本就没有放味精的必要。米粉是非常会吸收汤汁的，所以你们应该要吃米粉，让整碗粉都能吃出它的鲜甜。

在新山的口味和新加坡很相近，我去了新加坡基本来说没吃过我们怡保的asam laksa 口味。终于在这个小地方小档子看见了我怀念的asam laksa了，而不是椰酱咖喱。这里的laksa 虽然很够辣，可是汤头还是差了一点，没有很浓，我也吃不到鱼肉。

The reason that I don't like to eat Asam Laksa is because there are too many stuff in it. For example like pineapple and onion slices. I am fine with them actually. Just that I find it a bit irritating to eat sometimes. So I prefer to eat the noodle itself unless when I am too hungry. The soup here is quite heavy taste. It has very strong prawn paste taste. I wouldn't say it is very sour nor sweet. The combination is just nice for an asam laksa.

If want me to vote the best prawn mee in town, I will definitely vote for this. Because most of the prawn mee out there serve the almost similar soup. But the taste here is totally different. I can't find any similar taste of this in town. The soup is sweet and spicy. The prawn is deep fried prawn and it is crunchy. This is one of the few soup noodle that I will clear off the whole soup.

Eating porridge is very healthy. Healthy food doesn't mean it has to be bored. For example like this restaurant, they serve teochew porridge but then at the same time they have lots of side dishes for you to choose. Since I can't really eat much, normally I will just take 2 side dishes with a bowl of porridge will do. I got this braised pork. I like the braised pork sauce because it adds in lots of sweet flavour into the porridge. The meat is very soft too.

The fish head mee hoon here is my favourite place to eat. The noodles soup taste very sweet and fresh. I like to ask them to add in milk into the soup so the aroma of the soup taste nicer. The fish is really fresh and i always like to go for the fried fish. Because fried fish the fish skin is a bit hard so dip in soup only soften. Then eat with their belacan, really taste nice.

Some places offer a very good curry mee, some places don't. This place offer a very average curry noodles. I ordered their curry koay teow, but i don't know why their koay teow seems like can absorb all the curry soup very fast. End up I need to ask for extra curry soup. Then their curry is very thick too. The fu zok they all have inside the curry soup isn't crunchy at all.

Finally i am able to get to eat the sarawak kolo noodle here after so long. Been searching for this noodle ever since i back from kuching. The noodle here cant really compare with there. But it is good enough. I like their egg noodles, very springy and Q feel and also their salted minced pork meat sprinkle on top of the noodle. Everything is so good to be eaten. Small portion is good.

Teo chew porridge is very homemade and house feeling feel. You can choose your favourite dishes and those dishes don't need comes in big amount, just a little bit of each can give you a very nice meal. When the porridge is taste plain, you can pour in some sauce. Their salted fish here fried until very crispy. You just sprinkle some into porridge and soften them to eat.
