Was in town the other day for visa submission with my friends. We couldn't really decide where to eat (as usual ), my friends then suggested Antipodean at Wisma Tan & Tan and since i've not tried before, I said "sure, why not". I have heard that their big breakfast here is good.So we got there and ordered the big breakfast (of course) and pancakes. Apparently the portion is quite huge so we decided to share. The Big Breakfast costs RM19 and consists of a slice of toast, two slices of bacons, saut
So we got there and ordered the big breakfast (of course) and pancakes. Apparently the portion is quite huge so we decided to share. The Big Breakfast costs RM19 and consists of a slice of toast, two slices of bacons, saute mushrooms, a piece of hashbrown and a large amount of scrambled eggs. Being an egg lover, this dish delights me! This is called Banana Pancakes with Butterscotch and it costs RM16. It comes with three pieces of pancakes, slightly smaller than the size of my palm, cuts of mix fruits and butterscotch dipping. This dish is alright. Nothing to shout about.
The environment is generally nice. Simple deco to suit the taste of the working class customers. Since it's located in an office building, majority if not all of its customers are office workers and the surprising thing was, we were the only Asians in there. Haha. Those dining there at the time we were there were all Caucasians.
Generally a pleasant experience but I wouldn't go there for a normal day breakfast. Too fancy for my pocket and I still like my nasi lemak. Lol
