Pizza! OK Jul 20, 2013
Categories : Italian | Restaurant | Pizza/Pasta | Halal

Their value lunch set is really affordable (considering very cheap).
By just paying RM9.90++ ( RM11.50 after tax) you get a soup of the day+main dish of your choice+drink which is refillable.
The environment is good since there's not much people making noise.
I must say, some of the staff is nice and polite but some of them are not.
Their pizza is charcoal grilled and at this price, it taste alright.
It's crunchy and you can just add more cheese and chili flakes to make it taste better.
Not something like garment food but I like it because it taste like the pizza I've tasted in Paris.
No worries there's not much burnt ash under the pizza and I like their soup.

The Teochew Cendol! OK Jul 07, 2013
Categories : Chinese | Malaysian variety | Stall / Warung | Desserts

The Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul is considered the Penang's Michelin Award Winner! I'm just joking tongue
It's so famous that no matter you're local or foreigner you'll definitely stop by this place to try this chendul out.
I would say, this place is super duper crazily crowded and believe it or not, there's a shop beside the store which is full house, yea it's theirs too.
I wouldn't recommend you to go in the shop, sit and eat, because you can imagine its so crowded inside, the heat and crowd and loud voice and sweat, yea you know! mad
However, if you choose to stand at the road side and enjoy your chendol, please please please be careful because there's quite a lot of vehicles passing by that street, so make sure u stand at the side.

Okay, this is not the Chendul. It's actually the ABC my friend ordered. It looks so attractive with the mixture of colors of the read beans, sweet corn, dark sugar and all!

Back to my Chendul. It's kind of sad that basically when you get your Chendul it's 70% melted! Maybe it's due to the extremely hot weather! The ice is not fluffy anymore and you're just drinking the chendul. Well, some people prefer to drink but I do prefer to bite some fluffy ice..

The taste! I don't know why is it called Teochew Chendul but the taste is just like normal chendul anyway. The difference I guess is that it's not too sweet like what we had normally, and you can bite a lot of soft chendul in it. Overall, I would say its great to have something cold during a hot day but it's nothing so special about it until everyone has to queue like crazy for it lah. But, they are serving fast so the queue is not really a problem.

They're selling some juice also, you can try the one in red color because my friends tried that and they said it taste good. I didn't try them because I was simply too busy having my chendul and taking pic. It's one of the Penang's signature that's why must take tons of picture to prove that I have been here!lol

Fillet O' Fish Set Lunch Cry Aug 06, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Burgers / Sandwiches | Halal

It's been a long while that I didn't have McD in my hometown because I had too much in KL.
Fast food is really not a choice when you're at home, right?
I came here because of my youngest sister loves to eat fries..
I didn't know that McDonald would have such bad quality of food..
Well, maybe they're too busy or what so my cheese was just halved and not being arranged accordingly..
(1/4 of the cheese was in the box instead of in the burger)
What's worse is the lettuce in the burger, it is not fresh at all as if it has been kept in fridge for few days.
That's the last time I had McD in Segamat anyway.
Wondering should I give it a second chance and see whether they did improve. sighhh

Chocolate Blog Cry Aug 06, 2013
Categories : Malaysian variety | Stall / Warung | Juices / Bubble Tea / Tea / Yogurt

Well, this is not the first Cool Blog branch in Segamat but I never feel like wanna try their drinks since I'm now a Black Ball fans..
I was basically attracted by the crowd that queue in front of the shop..
I thought, hey maybe they are good why not give it a shot?
But then I immediately regret after my first taste..
I ordered the chocolate blog and it taste like those we can get in night market, very powderish taste..
other than that, their pearls was disappointing..
However, the staff was really polite and friendly and the drink is really cheap so if you're thirsty then maybe you can have this because the chocolate in Old Town is way too expensive than this.sad
