It's so famous that no matter you're local or foreigner you'll definitely stop by this place to try this chendul out.
I would say, this place is super duper crazily crowded and believe it or not, there's a shop beside the store which is full house, yea it's theirs too.
I wouldn't recommend you to go in the shop, sit and eat, because you can imagine its so crowded inside, the heat and crowd and loud voice and sweat, yea you know!

However, if you choose to stand at the road side and enjoy your chendol, please please please be careful because there's quite a lot of vehicles passing by that street, so make sure u stand at the side.

Okay, this is not the Chendul. It's actually the ABC my friend ordered. It looks so attractive with the mixture of colors of the read beans, sweet corn, dark sugar and all!

Back to my Chendul. It's kind of sad that basically when you get your Chendul it's 70% melted! Maybe it's due to the extremely hot weather! The ice is not fluffy anymore and you're just drinking the chendul. Well, some people prefer to drink but I do prefer to bite some fluffy ice..

The taste! I don't know why is it called Teochew Chendul but the taste is just like normal chendul anyway. The difference I guess is that it's not too sweet like what we had normally, and you can bite a lot of soft chendul in it. Overall, I would say its great to have something cold during a hot day but it's nothing so special about it until everyone has to queue like crazy for it lah. But, they are serving fast so the queue is not really a problem.

They're selling some juice also, you can try the one in red color because my friends tried that and they said it taste good. I didn't try them because I was simply too busy having my chendul and taking pic. It's one of the Penang's signature that's why must take tons of picture to prove that I have been here!
