Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles | Mixed rice | Yong Tau Fu

Eat & Happy Yong Tau Foo 得意酿酿 @ One Utama, is serving delicious homemade yong tau foo at the Lower Ground Floor, Promenade Food Street.

They are offering a wide selection of homemade yong tau foo such as fried fu cuk, fried fish cakes, fried fish balls, fried tau foo, white tau foo, stuffed red chilies, stuffed bitter gourd, stuffed brinjal and many more choices.

Basically, there are 3 different sets of yong tau foo - Set A, B and C with 3, 5 and 12 pieces yong tau foo respectively. Set A & B served with choice of noodles, choose either clear soup noodles, curry, sambal dry noodles or even chee cheong fun. Meanwhile, Set C does not include noodles.
Set B Yong Tau Foo @ RM10.50

Set B Yong Tau Foo @ RM10.50

Here comes my bowl of piping hot clear soup beehoon served with 5 pieces of selected yong tau foo. These homemade yong tau foo are freshly prepared daily. It was fresh, delicious and the fish paste has bouncy textures. Although the clear soup may looks 'clear' , but it was savory and flavorful where the stock have been simmered for long hours with their secret recipes.

Fish Porridge 鱼片粥 was piping hot and served in a claypot with fresh ingredients.
The ingredients mainly are slices of fish meat, grated ginger and white porridge sprinkled with spring onions.
As an option, I have added salted egg with extra RM1 per portion.

BBQ Chicken at Wangsa Walk Mall has been relocated near to the main entrance.
The dining area is actually at the first floor and need to climb a few steps of staircase.
Hot Hot Drums

Hot Hot Drums

Hot Hot Drums was served with two pieces of Korean style spicy drumsticks, coleslaw and French fries.
The French fries can be exchanged for either fried rice or mashed potatoes.
Hot Hot Drums

Hot Hot Drums

The Hot Hot Drums was really hot and spicy. The chicken drumsticks was well marinated and deep fried to crispy golden brown,
then generously coated with hot red pepper grain and paste sauce.
Hot Hot Drumsticks was extra hot and spicy with slight crispness outside, while tender and juicy texture inside.
Coleslaw

Coleslaw

The coleslaw was tasty and freshly prepared. A more generous portion of coleslaw was served here compared to One Utama outlet. The French fries was just normal.

Korean Charbroiled Fried Rice

Korean Charbroiled Fried Rice

Korean Charbroiled Fried Rice, a piece of charbroiled chicken meat was served with slices of tomato and cucumber, and to savor with their signature mushroom fried rice.

Korean Charbroiled Chicken

The charbroiled chicken meat was well marinated and nicely done. As per my understanding, 'char-broil' means broil over charcoal. There is a difference between grill and broil, where heat source comes from above is termed as broiling.

The boneless piece of charbroiled chicken was very delicious, it has a tender succulent, melt-in-the-mouth texture and savory gravy that went very well with the flavorful mushroom fried rice.

BBQ Chicken Wangsa Walk outlet here provides an elegant ambiance and nice interior designs.

The Chicken Crisp Fettuccine was served with thick flat Italian noodles, Fettuccine together with small pieces of chicken meats. The Fettuccine noodles was well cooked with soft and slightly chewy texture. It was tasty and goes well with the crisp tender chicken meats.

Surprisingly, the restaurant was quiet and not many customers during lunch hour on Sunday.
