Fried beancurd. The fried beancurd portion was big and topped with some mayo sauce on top of it. Once I took the first bite, I do not enjoyed it. The mayo sauce tasted pepperish, slightly salty and does not even match the bean curd. For a pepper person like me, the peppery mayo sauce to me was very weird. Although the beancurd was deep fried till crispiness, the combination was just wrong.

Steamed Glutinous rice with chicken ("Loh mai kai"). From the dim sum counter of the buffet spread, the loh mai kai looks tempting, so I took one. Once I had taken the first bite, I was a bit regretted. The loh mai kai was quite dry and certain parts were not steamed well. It does not had the gist of a loh mai kai, slightly bland. It was sticky and the chicken piece was a bit bland too.

There are several selections of pastry offered at the counter. So, I took a piece of chocolate pastry roll to try. This pastry was slightly disappointing as it was quite hard. It does not have the fluffy texture of a pastry, it was quite solid. The chocolate added some sweetness to it but it was too little. I do hope that the pastry would soft and more chocolate in it.

Asam fish. Once I stepped into the shop, I saw some people already eating the asam fish, and it tempted me to order the same. Although it came in a boiling hot pot, but the aroma was not there, I did not smell the fragrance of asam much. The fish was quite fishy taste, not so fresh it seemed. The asam gravy was slightly sour and spicy but not heavy enough for my liking. The vegetables were fine though.

Chicken noodle soup. This chicken noodle soup was part of the set lunch and it came with a not-appetizing look. In fact, the soup combination of chicken and noodle was weird. The soup was clear with some noodles and chicken in it, slightly salty. The noodles were really soft. It also have some spring onions. I find this soup not appealing at all. I did not finish it.
