Brother keep tell us about how nice and fresh seafood in Masai. So when during our latest visit to JB, we really spare a time for some seafood feast.

When we reach there around 6.30pm, the restaurant already start full house. We can choose our own seafood and it is lot of choices. Anywhere, not cheap ;^)

Ok. Lets see what we order. I cannot recall its price but total around rm500 plus.

Yummey Lobster

Succulent fresh oyster.

Big and meaty crab

Delicious fresh seawater fish

Curry prawn and bun

Super big portion fried rice

The restaurant is spacious and you also can enjoy the natural sea breeze and the view of Singapore from here.

Service not that 'friendly' because maybe too many customer but they take order and serve very fast.

Cendol Bakar @ Kuala Selangor OK Oct 11, 2014

Categories : Malaysian variety | Stall / Warung | Desserts

Everytime while on the way to Kuala Selangor, we sure passby a roadside eat place that is lot of cars and peoples. And from far we already can see a very big Drive-thru Cendol Bakar signage. Our curiosity make us want to find out what is cendul bakar (roast cendul). How its roast???

After googles than only I found out the 'Bakar' here is the owner name !! Anywhere I think this advertising strategic really work. Wondering how many people get trick like me hahaha.

The small bowl of creamy cendol with soft ice and toped with aromatic roasted gula melaka is really refreshing. Just simple and cost us RM2 per bowl.

Besides cendol, here also serve more food like cucur udang, otah-otah, coconut shake and etc.

Very nice cucur udang.

Long time no eat this delicious

Old school snack.

Here also sold coconut shake that they claim better than original klebang coconut shake but I don't think so ;-p

Fried Otah-otah. Not nice

Cendol Bakar is worth trying if only you in this area. This place very easy to locate. If you are from KL, Sungai Buloh, Ijok to Kuala Selangor you sure can see this big restaurant on the roadside. It is so well decorate with their giant signage till noone will miss out.

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles

Hear about this famous tilapia fish wanton noodle for quite some time, we try to arrange time to try it out and last Sunday we are here for lunch. Located at a housing area not inside the town, it is better you follow the Templer Park to Rawang route. Don't worry you cannot find it cause from main road already can see a lot of sign banner lead you to the restaurant.

R Cheng signature is steam tilapia with wanton noodle. 6 flavours available. We opt for ginger garlic, dry soy sauce and tomyum. The small size fish will steam together with the QQ noodle. One fish plus one portion noodle is steam in a big stainless steel plate and it is enough for one person.

Amongst the three I like the ginger garlic the most. The flavourful and mild spicy gravy go well with the fresh and smelless tilapia. The tomyum is quite spicy and go very well with the noodle but not so nice for the fish while the dry soy sauce cannot cover the alkaline taste on the noodle. Each fish cost RM13.

We also order the Curry Pork Ribs Pot and Sunrise Yin Choy. Both also nice but nothing to shout out.

Sunrise Yin Choy @ RM8

Curry Pork Ribs Claypot @ RM18

The price....

Categories : Korean | Restaurant | Steaks / Chops | BBQ

Korea BBQ Chicken can consider one of my favourite restaurant. Like their food and environment. So when I saw they sell voucher I immediately purchase 2. With this voucher I can enjoy RM40 cash voucher for food and drinks at only RM24. So we are here to celebrate mum's Birthday...look like we are so stingy, celebrate mum's birthday with discounted voucher hahaha.

Choco-col is a Must Order evertime I patrolling BBQ Chicken. A cup of bite-size fried chicken and drink in one hand. the cup of chicken will place on top of your favourite soft drink. Cool. Just choose any soft drink or iced lemon tea and it cost RM9.90.

2 pcs Hot Hot Drum @ RM16.50

The premium chicken is the main hero in BBQ Chicken. We opt for Hot Hot Drum, Crispy Olive Chicken and Gangjeong Chciken. I like the Hot Hot Drum most. Marinated with special hot and spicy sauce and deep fried in olive oil. No play play, this really hot and spicy.

6pcs Gangjeong Chicken @ RM16.50

As for the Gangjeong Chicken, it is more to the sweetness side plus a mild of spiciness. While the Crispy Olive Chicken, marinated with bbq's secret herbs is more suitable to those who like something less gravy. A few more deep fried chicken that is more crispy and dry also available here.

6pcs Crispy Olive Chicken @ RM13.50

Next we also order the Shrimp Gorgonzola Pizza that is so BIG!!! This premium pizza is cheese topped with shrimps and I can say it is so nice but we are to full till cannot finish it!!

Shrimp Gorgonzola Pizza @ RM29.90

We are a little bit dilemma either to order rice or spagethi but since mum prefer rice we go for the Sous-Vide Nasi Goreng. This is highly recommend!! The rice is fried with tender grilled Sous-Vide Chicken in fusion style. I sure back to try it again with the whole plate for me only hahaha.

Sous-Vide Nasi Goreng @ RM10.50

And now dessert time, we go for the Pineapples Grilled Kochi. To be honest, this is the first time I eat grilled pineapples. Tender and sweet. Worth a try.

3 pcs Pineapples Grilled Kochi @ RM5.50

BBQ Chicken used 100% pure olive oil along with 30 natural seasonings, the chicken is marinated before it is fried to a delightful golden brown.

Kissburger @ Desa Park City Smile Oct 08, 2014
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Burgers / Sandwiches

Kissburger is one of the new opening restaurant in Desa Park City. Kissburger is a fast casual local burger shop, with inspirations from all over Japan. Kissburger offers a range of "healthy" choices of burger & a lighter meal for those that are more inclined to Asian palate for taste & size.

During my first visit, I take ages to choose what to eat. The range of burger that look different from other burger shop really attractive. In Kissburger besides bun, they also serve no-bread burger like rice and lettuce burger. Sound special right. I think rice burger is nothing special but lettuce burger? I yet to try. Maybe next visit.

At the end, I opt fot the Tsukune Mushroom Rice Burger. Its cost me RM10. Just add another RM6, you will get a cup of Cola Lemon and side dish. I opt for the Brinjal Fries. Love the mushroom patty that is flavourful and juicy. I also like the size of the burger. Not too big, just enough to keep you full.

Tsukune Mushroom Rice Burger @ RM10.00

The Brinjal fries is some highlight here. I cannot recall its serve in any other place but this is the first time I eat. This tempura-style brinjal really crispy and you cant stop keep bitting it!

Salmon Fish Burger

Lemon Coke

Your numbering, order, pay and wait for them to

bring the food to you.

Other menu icludes Kiss Teriyaki Chicken made from whole thigh meat. Not lagging in popularity is our Wagyu Nurger, Big Kiss Mushroom Beef Burger, Saba Fish Burger, Salmon Fish Burger and etc. Besides that, here also serve very nice frozen cheesecakes that I also yet to try.

Love the Wasabi sauce

Kissburger can be a good place for simple food and chit-chatting because the shop is just facing the Desa Park City garden which is airy and relaxing.
