Another place of having Loh Mee will be in Lorong Selamat. The small shop nearby is selling loh mee as well as dim sums.Loh Mee is one of Penang’s famous hawker food. Penang Loh Mee is served in precooked starchy broth, garnished with a variety of options like hard boiled eggs, chicken leg, mushrooms and pork intestines. On the other hand, KL Loh Mee is served with dark starch broth which has black vinegar in it.

Goodall Food Court is quite large, situated at the corner of Jalan Scott and Jalan Gottlieb. The food court is simply convenient where you can get the ample parking space nearby. This time around in Penang, I decided to make a trip to the food court for my dinner with family. We started our meals of course with my favorite laksa. The laksa as usual are being served with the condiments like the ikan kembung and the sourish based soup with thick rice noodle, plenty of shredded pineapple, lettuce, red chili, cucumber, onion, galangal (curry flower), and lemon grass.

Swez Brasserie in Eastin Hotel is having their Japanese Style Buffet during weekend and since I am with the stay in weekends, we had our buffet dinner in the hotel as well. Started with the salad range, it does a plentiful choices of the Japanese delights. Ranges all the way from the they do served the chuka wakame ( marinated seaweed with enoki salad) ,pan seared tuna, imo salad (potato salad), tomato salad, namesu ( radish & carrot vineger) and even more. The salad are all freshly made and I love the chuka wakame itself which brings the freshness of the taste of marinated seaweed.Plentiful of the assorted sushi are also available in the buffet spread as well. The varieties includes the maki, salmon and many more. I am falling in love with the sushi which is well wrapped till perfection and it is just taste good with the well delicious fresh ingridients

Tucked along the housing estates at Bayan Lepas, Goh Teow Kee is the restaurant which is worth for visiting for a Teow Chew dishes. The restaurant itslf probably is one of the famous Teowchew restaurants in Penang and at their restaurant, they had also published some of the artist and politician visiting them which include MYFM DJ Ngan Mei Yan, and also the Chief Minister of Penang – Mr Lim Guan Eng. It has been a long time since I visited the restaurant which is nearly 8 years back. The restaurant brings the combination of Thai and Nyonya elements with it.

We are recommended with their famous Curry Kapitan Spare ribs. The braised spare ribs are being simmered in a very unique curry by using the specially selected ingredients prepared in “Nyonya & Baba’s Style”. The curry is simply thick with the succulent meat together with it.
Price: RM 13-RM 26

House Plum Sauce Chicken brings us with the deliciously made taste. The marinated boneless chicken thigh is being deep fried till golden brown and then it is being accompanied with the homemade plum sauce together. The chicken is simply crispy at the outside and the chicken meat is tender as well.
Pirce: RM 18.00
