Dragon-I is nothing special to talk about but the restaurant serves a good Shanghainese Delights. One of the famous item from Dragon-I which is the Xiao Long Bao. The steamed meat dumplings which is originated all the way from Shanghai’ s Nanxiang Town. Every steamed specialty dumpling are handmade and each displaying at least 18 delicate folds. The filling is a skillfully balanced mix of minced pork shank, ginger and natural pork skin. gelatin which after steaming, melts into the tasty delicious soup. Every bites of the dumplings is sinfully delicious with the sweet soup which is well infused in the dumpling.

Tucked along the housing estates at Bayan Lepas, Goh Teow Kee is the restaurant which is worth for visiting for a Teow Chew dishes. The restaurant itslf probably is one of the famous Teowchew restaurants in Penang and at their restaurant, they had also published some of the artist and politician visiting them which include MYFM DJ Ngan Mei Yan, and also the Chief Minister of Penang – Mr Lim Guan Eng. It has been a long time since I visited the restaurant which is nearly 8 years back. The restaurant brings the combination of Thai and Nyonya elements with it.

We are recommended with their famous Curry Kapitan Spare ribs. The braised spare ribs are being simmered in a very unique curry by using the specially selected ingredients prepared in “Nyonya & Baba’s Style”. The curry is simply thick with the succulent meat together with it.
Price: RM 13-RM 26

House Plum Sauce Chicken brings us with the deliciously made taste. The marinated boneless chicken thigh is being deep fried till golden brown and then it is being accompanied with the homemade plum sauce together. The chicken is simply crispy at the outside and the chicken meat is tender as well.
Pirce: RM 18.00

Hutton Lane Koay Teow Soup which is located inside the Kafe Fook Cheow is worth to visi. It is one of the famous koay teow soup among the Penangties too. The fresh flat rice noodles are cooked in clear soup broth and topped with duck meat, sliced pork and fish balls. The koay teow soup is perfectly done and simply flavourful where their fish balls are homemade fish balls which I love the most

Tai Lei Loi Kei Smile Oct 06, 2013

Tai Lei Loi Kei is one of my favorites since i had visited them in Kota Damansara. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with the piggy with it and i am always a fans of the polo bun. The fluffy bun which is added with the tender juicy pork meat is just perfect for a afternoon meal. The pork meat is really delicious and the juiciness of the pork meat gives me a thumbs up. With the polo bun added in to it, give a light sweetness bite.

curry mee Smile Oct 05, 2013

Thinking ofgoing for Fu San but unfortunately the shop is so packed and we had made a change to try something new. We spotted a parking space and we headed to the Kedai Kopi Kheng Nam for our breakfast. The shop is an old shop which you can find a variety of food here. We had made an order of curry noodles as well as other items there.

The curry mee here is one of the hit items where you can try the curry mee which is served with an option of mee or bihun or even both with it. It is topped with the “ham” as well as tau kua on top and some minced slices of chicken meat with it. The curry is kinda thick too to be accompanied with it but not too spicy though.
