The captain was not the nicest guy in KK. I don't like the way he explained that the Tuaran Noodle didn't come with pork, but just prawns. I think he forgets that paying customers are PAYING customers. There's something about the way he conducts himself which proves that he is proud. My colleague is a local Chinese and I'm not. Somehow, after ordering our food, he'd speak only to my colleague in Chinese. I don't mind that. But I do mind the fact that he wouldn't explain the bill to me in person and he avoided eye contact. Mind that my bill was RM46++ that night, even more than my colleague's. And that was just some pork, white rice and apple cider. I would have ordered more drinks if I wasn't very upset with the captain's attitude. SO how was the food? To be fair, the apple cider was just that - apple cider. Okay.. The pork and white rice? Okay.. The other staffs? They were fantastic! There was a girl was asssigned to send us our food and she was okay. Then another guy returned our money balance after we paid for our bill. My colleague and I splitted our bills. They should have splitted our balance too! WHat did they do instead? Well, they didn't split the balance and they expected my colleague to sort it out between us. I then demanded right away that they should split the balance themselves. It was a very bad dinner experience! It's just too bad because I was the one suggesting my colleague to visit the place because I read about them somewhere in a local food blog. BAD EXPERIENCE! I've padi less for better food and service at other places. After this, I will contact the food blog admins to remove this restaurant from their list. No matter how good your recipe and decor is, nobody is going to remember them if the service is bad. PLEASE ASK YOUR TABLE CAPTAIN TO LEARN HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS A LITTLE MORE.
