Northam Beach is a hawker centre located in George Town. It houses many types of food, and most of them are of Penang origins. It faces the sea, which makes the ambience very nice, relaxing and generally cooling as well. We ordered the Penang Lobak, which is yet another Penang specialty dish. Among the foodstuffs that we chose were taiwan sausage, foochuk and fried wantan. They were all evenly cut and nicely arranged. The Lobak generally is quite delicious. The sausage was flavourful with a little spiciness in it. The foochuk were crispy with generous filling and the same can be said for the fried wantan.
The sauce was delicious as it was thick with a nice savoury taste which complements the lobak.
Generally a good dish to order here.
