Old Town White Coffee is a well-known Malaysian kopitiam style chain restaurant serving great Malaysian food. This branch is located in 1st Avenue, Jalan Magazine, Georgetown.Old Town Assam laksaAssam laksa is one of my favourite hawker style Malaysian food. This Old Town assam laksa is one of the assam laksa that I have tasted so far. The broth is packed with fish flavour and complemented the noodles very well. It is not too sour or too salty. The sweet pineapples give the laksa some sweetness and additional element to the dish. Overall, Old Town assam laksa is a great dish that must not be missed. continue reading

Old town is famous for its fragrance white coffee but since I don’t used to take coffee at night, I ordered this float which cost rm 6.90. Its quite worth compared to other drinks because the beverage is in a huge size and it is even enough for 2 person. It comes with root beer with a vanilla ice-cream topped on the drink. Although its not comparable to the float from A&W but the quality is still ok. continue reading

Noodles in Old town normally originate from Ipoh and this Ipoh Lum Mee is a very traditional food found in Ipoh.A dish with very dense soup topping all over the noodles and as you eat the noodles and once a while simmer the soup, the taste of the prawns and fish biscuits also come out. Somemore, the scallion scattered around the noodles make it even delicious. The cocoa colour fried garlic also enhance the taste of this Lum Mee. continue reading
