SisterS Crispy Popiah has enjoyed rapid growth since 2003, expanding into major shopping malls located in both East & West Malaysia. It is more like a kiosk or stall just opposite Bread Story. I have bought 2 Crispy Popiah at RM6. The popiah looks like any other popiah at first galnce, but each bite will land your teeth in its crispy ans crunch fillings. It is eaten in accompaniment with a sweet sauce and optionally with hot chilli sauce before it is filled. The filling is mainly finely grated and steamed jicama (known locally as bangkuang). Its crispiness can lasts for hours where this normally cannot find in any traditional popiah.
