Thyme is one of my favourite bakeries. All their bread and cakes are made in house, and made fresh everyday. They do not have many selections on display, hence it would be best to do reservations beforehand. They also do customised cakes. One of the cakes that I simply adore is the Royal Almond Cake. Nestled between layers of chocolate sponge is a generous helping of caramelised crushed almonds. The cake is first covered in a layer of fresh cream, then another layer of chocolate. The cake is decorated with fresh fruits, which gives it a pleasing look. Definitely recommended!
