OLDTOWN French ToastFinally tried out the very own French Toast by Old Town Kopitiam. Come in a thick toast that has been sliced half evenly to spread some butter and kaya. The bread is then sealed tightly byt dipping it in some beaten egg before is being fried up. OLDTOWN French Toast

Finally tried out the very own French Toast by Old Town Kopitiam. Come in a thick toast that has been sliced half evenly to spread some butter and kaya. The bread is then sealed tightly byt dipping it in some beaten egg before is being fried up. That resulted in a thin layer of eggy taste on the outside, before topping off with a scoop of milky butter alongside some honey too. The lingering sweet and saltiness from the honey and butter seems pretty delectable, albeit is a tad sinful for a night snack. However, only the middle part of the bread is seen to be well filled with the jam, leaving the crust side a bit too dry. Seems like the same fare from the other Hong Kong competitor is much better.
