Sometimes when I feel like eating a light lunch, I will go for char kuey teow. Although the fact is char kuey teow is not that “light”, but it is not filling till my stomach bloated. This char kuey teow is considered not bad as you will find lots of people ordering it during lunch time. The char kuey teow is not over fried, therefore, no burning smell. However, the “wok hei” is there. I like the seasoning as well. The dark soy sauce, chili paste, and chopped garlic stir fry the kuey teow was delicious. Due to the high temperature heat, the kuey teow will not stick together. Also love the beansprouts and chives. The char kuey teow definitely smells good and could easily stir up your appetite.
