I was wondering in One Utama over the weekend, and felt a little peckish. So I went into Food Republic to see what I can find. Saw Pepper Lunch Express, and decided to order the beef pepper rice. The beef pepper rice was served on a round metal tray which is preheated over the stove to make it superbly, meltingly hot. The beef pepper rice was served on a round metal tray which is preheated over the stove to make it superbly, meltingly hot. The beef was raw when served, and you need to stir it a bit on the hot metal tray to cook it. I asked to add an egg into it as well. The combination is very nice, especially when they put some butter, brown sauce and pepper onto the rice. Served with some corn and chopped spring onions on top, the price of RM9.90 with an additional RM1.20 for the egg is definitely well worth the amount paid.
