One dish that is worth recommending only to resident within 1km radius here. Anyone further than this distance should just eat anywhere else and don’t bother coming all the way just for this. Cause you easily get similar satisfaction anywhere else. The char siew was finely honey-glazed and luscious. Besides, other shops normally sliced the char siew so thin you can see through the meats. It comes with standard dumpling soup because it wouldn’t be wanton noodle if they don’t serve dumpling at all.

There were quite a fair bit of varieties, as written on the menu on the wall. I ordered sweet and sour crab and fried bread to go with it. Sweet and sour crab came complete with pliers and I wondered where my fried bread is? In another 10 minutes, our bread arrived and it looked nothing like the menu. It was steamed. Rather disappointed, because we were charged for that. Menu showing complete crab and bread, but the staffs were not sure of it themselves. We paid anyway. It was palatable, so I have no comment on this. Not to mention we finally got our extra chili sauce spontaneously after we ordered the crab. How is that relevant? I don’t know…I’m assuming readers would know.

Pau lookalike bread wasn’t that bad when dipping into sweet and sour sauce from the crab.

In contrary to that, the crab was however hideous. Completely off and I really don’t think they should be serving that. Ever…! And I will never eat that again. Not even if I’m being paid to do so.

The chicken was really not all that geat. I must be really blunt on this, as I really thought that it was rather ordinary. Slightly a little overcooked, as the chicken has lost all juices. Did not meet the correct tender level, and was a little leathery. Well, at least the oyster and soya sauce still managed to give a little taste to the chicken.

Beans sprout was also ordinary. Good enough to fulfill hunger, definitely not good enough to be recommended. Even the rice was nothing compared to most chicken rice stalls.

However, the soup was pretty good and it’s free flow. Self service for the soup and I must say it’s not bad.

You can see the ingredient and they are not stingy with the ABC soup.

And before I forget, I must not only compliment the soup but also, their incredibly huge modesty. When asked for a little extra chili sauce, waitress told us that we were not allowed. It was because they sell their chili sauces too. You want extra chili sauce, you’ve got to pay for it. I was like “what?…”

It was said that the owner would sell their chicken in whole for an offered price of 48rm each. I thought to myself, what? Offered price? Um…so I’m paid that price to take the chicken with me or am I paying for it? Either way they can keep it.

Prawn Dumplings. On top of the wantan mee, we ordered an extra bowl of prawn dumpling (har gao). It came in a bowl of soup together with some vegetables. The skin was thin and translucent. The fillings were clearly shown across the skin. It was not too salty and the texture was so-so. The dumpling actually does not taste that good, it was a normal dumpling and nothing to shout about.

Char Siew Roast Pork Wantan Mee. I was feeling very hungry that afternoon and decided to with the extreme meal - Char Siew Roast Pork Wantan Mee. The name of the dish already indicated the ingredients for this wantan mee. The roast pork was crispy and thick piece. It was slightly salty and juicy. The char siew was soft and sweet. Teh C. Yat Yeh Hing is a corner shop lot that has a famous chicken rice stall. The restaurant is spacious as it has the corner space too. After ordering our main meal, we ordered the drinks. This teh C was a different order thatn our usual coffee. This teh C does not have enough evaporated milk and hence the drink tasted quite bland and diluted. The teh taste was there but not strong.

Came by to take away lunch after a gym session. Facing the LDP, this corner restaurant is easily seen from the highway.

It did not take long for the hawker to prepare my food, even though it looked like that were many people who ordered from this stall.

After getting my packet of wan tan mee, I went straight home to empty both packets of noodles and soup out to the dish as I was quite hungry.
The noodles for the wan tan mee is very well cooked. It is very springy and well flavoured. Instead of only cha siew, I have also requested for siew yuk to be included into the dish as well. The cha siew was quite dry, although it has a nice caramelized flavour to it. The siew yuk was decent at best for me. It was not crispy enough although it was a strong siew yuk flavour to it.

The wantan was the best in my opinion, as unlike most other wantan served in KL, this one actually has some minced meat inside, instead of just wantan skin.

This dish is actually quite nice, thanks to its wantan and its delicious al-dente noodles.

Restoran Yat Yeh Hing has this famous stall selling steam chicken. They also sell the roasted chicken, but i usually skip that. The best is the steam chicken. The steam chicken here is better than many places. Service could be poor due to popularity and lack of manpower. The chicken does not feel fatty or oily. The sauce for the chicken was fragrant with the chicken fats and soy sauce. Some garlic oil added and the chicken taste great. I also skipped their rice because i think their rice is not fluffy.
