First impression was I like the way they presented this dish, simple yet appetizing. Rice was fluffy and decent as well, I can find quite an amount of crushed ginger in it, indeed having nice aroma.

This is another new food and beverage establishment by Chatime. I am glad to find the food here rather nice. The tom yam soup is spicy, little fiery and contains rich spices. Texture wise it is light, but did not discount/omit the flavour a tom yam bowl should have. It came with succulent and fresh seafood such as prawns and squids. I chose vermicelli (bihun) and it was cooked just right, soaking up the tom yam soup quite well.

A quick lunch break at Thai Up! located at LG of the gardens. Large sitting place.Order their fired rice with grilled chicken chop with green curry. This is their speciality dish thus I give a try on it. The green curry taste not so spicy and the rice is not white rice they served brown rice. Besides the grilled chicken chop taste normal and does not have any grilled up taste. Overall is just a plain normal meal not much Thai feel on it. It cost me RM14.90 before tax. My Pad Thai: Stir-fried rice noodle with LITTLE bean sprout, served with 1 blanched prawn and 2 slices of blanched squid, 1 teaspoon of chili flakes and 1 tsp of pounded peanuts. The rice noodle was stir-fried until sticky, not tasty and quite greasy. It was plain with little bean sprout only. The seafood was overcooked especially the squid was too rubbery!

For the rice set, the rice was fragrant with ginger and nice to eat with the coconut-based green curry gravy. The only complaint was the cooled and overcooked chicken (They did not reheat it properly or we waited too long for the cutleries to be brought?).

We were totally not satisfied to pay the 10% sluggish service charge. Firstly, the staffs ignored us but went to take order at the table next to us even we reached first. Secondly, they did not bring cutleries to us when serving food and we have to wait about 5 min for the cutleries. We definitely will not visit here again.

The Thai style roast chicken rice is something worth trying. Thai Up serves a wide range of genuine Thai cuisines here and their ambiance here is very cozy. The roast chicken in this dish is roasted to tender and smooth. It tastes very nice and the rice they used in this dish is something special. They added a lot of spices in the rice itself. This dish comes with some vegetables on the side, adds some freshness to the dish. A recommended dish.

If you always loved salads, this salad from Thai Up restaurant is something that you should not have missed out either. This Thai style salad has a combination of many crunch textured vegetables, peanuts, and some spices. The whole dish is full of crunchiness and it tastes very refreshing. The taste is a bit of sour, a bit of salty, a bit of spicy and a bit of nutty. A great select for sharing between friends, can also be a good appetizer.

The Pad Thai served in Thai Up restaurant is something tasteful and it tastes very genuine too. It is a combination of rice noodles, mixed vegetables, squids, egg and some spices. The mixture tastes very refreshing and it is not too spicy. The rice noodle is very tender and the texture is very pampering I would say. However, I would recommend this for sharing, so that you can try more of their Thai food here.

Thai Up is one of my favourite places for Thai cuisines. Their ambiance here is very cozy and ideal for spending some quality times with friends. Their green curry seafood rice here is something interesting. Their green curry is I must say very smooth and not too spicy. It comes with a variety of seafood from fish, prawns to squids. Their seafood are quite fresh too, and the squid is very crunchy. It comes with some mixed vegetables, which makes it a bit more refreshing. Something worth trying.

The interesting part is the diner get flexibility to choose either rice or noodle. Rice would be what they called it Thai mixed rice which is the mixture of fragrant rice with brown rice other than that would be any one of the 4 types of noodles to choose from such as vermicelli, glass noodle, wheat noodle and rice noodle. As for the 4 types of sauces such as Green Curry, Red Curry, Spicy Lemongrass and Spicy Basil.

We have ordered House Specialty Thai mixed rice with chicken meat on Green Curry. This dish was delicious, the milky thick Green curry taste very good. The Green curry along with the mixed rice and the grilled chicken meat made the whole dish superb.
. The grilling smell on the chicken skin was captured, smell so nice and taste so good. I personally think that the portion of the rice is just enough for the ladies.

I will certainly return to try other dishes for the sake of their delicious sauce.

So sad that my favourite dessert, Red Ruby Water Chestnut, cost RM5.90 before tax, really let me down. I have never tried such a lousy Red Ruby Water Chestnut. The Red Ruby which supposed to be water chestnut wrapped with the starch was not completely cooked and all stick together in one as shown in the picture. I really hope they take immediate improvement on this.

for the grilling taste and aroma. It brought out the seafood sweet taste despite the portion was small but I enjoyed and finished all on the plate. The mixed rice was good and the sauce really saved the dish a lot. The thick spicy Lemongrass sauce made of little chili padi, garlic and lemongrass juice. The sauce taste hot indeed, sour and sweet that made the whole dish so appetizing.

Will surely recommend friends to dine.

We have Iced Lemongrass juice, cost RM6.90 before tax. Tall glass but look at the pathetic tiny lemongrass. We were thinking, may be the look is deceiving, we tried the juice. Oh dear! after trying, the look is of the same with the taste. Pathetic! First of all, the colour of the drinks is like a drinking water and diluted, did not taste much of the lemongrass juice. I am sorry to say, this drinks is highly not recommended. Disappointing!
