The colleague who stays in SS19 swears by the chicken rice, stating that it is one of the better ones in Subang Jaya. We ordered a portion of BBQ pork and roasted chicken thigh to share. The portion is fairly large, which was very good. The rice was fluffy and well-oiled, fragrant and delicious. The chicken is roasted nicely, with the skin golden brown and the meat tender and juicy. I thought the BBQ pork was a bit dry, as there were hardly any fat in them. The vegetable soup was just so-so, MSG

Another colleague ordered the pork meen seen soup, which looked rather oily to me. The portion was also quite small, not good enough for big eaters like me. There were quite a bit of ingridients in it, namely minced pork, pork slices, pork liver, and some small intestines. The soup is quite flavourful, with all the porky goodness. Garnished with fried garlic oil and spring onions, the bowl of noodle cost RM5, which is slightly expensive given the small portion.

The Kam Poh Fish Ball Noodles stall looks like it was doing very brisk business, hence my colleague decided to order and see what the fuss is all about. She ordered the hor fun with yellow noodle, dry version. The noodles were tossed in dark sauce before being served, which I thought was good. It had a bit of beansprouts in it. The other bowl contains a myriad of ingredients such as meat balls, fish balls, beancurd sheets as well as more beansprouts. The noodle is quite nice, well cooked. The ba

The balls had a good mouth-bounce, and the soup is surprisingly not very MSG-ish. Priced at RM5, it was well worth the amount paid.

A colleague who lives in SS19 needed to get back home to grab something, and we decided to tag along as he promised to bring us to eat good stuff. We arrived in Restoran Park way at about 1230pm, and the business there was in full swing. As in any other Chinese coffeeshop, the atmosphere is rather warm. I ordered the pork loh shee fun, dry version. The dish came, and it looked very appetising. The loh shee fun is well cooked, springy and slippery. It was laden with minced pork as well as some sl

I ordered the pork loh shee fun, dry version. The dish came, and it looked very appetising. The loh shee fun is well cooked, springy and slippery. It was laden with minced pork as well as some slices of Chinese liver sausage, the kind like you find from Sam Kan Chong. The noodle was accompanied by a bowl of soup with three pieces of meat balls. The ensemble was very nice. The noodle was not too salty, slighly dry and the soup has a bit of MSG in it. Priced at RM5 per bowl, it was a decent amount to pay for lunch.
