Nol Boo Korean Restaurant (Closed)

Udong Mee. I was surprised that udong mee was shown in the menu of a Korean restaurant. My dining partner being not a fan of Korean food, he ordered this udong mee. It came with a small wok as a bowl and consisted of the standard steamboat fish balls ingredients. The broth taste quite normal, not too salty and not too bland. The udong was thick and soft too. Not bad actually.

Banchan. The set came with three small plates of banchan which was the beansprouts, kimchi and long bean. The beansprouts were really good, although it looked plain but it does tasted delicious. They were crunchy too. Of course, the banchan has kimchi too. It tasted weird to me and I don't quite like the taste. The long bean was normal and nothing to shout about.

Korean style ABC. This was a bit pricey for an ABC but Nolboo gave lots of ingredients such as kiwi fruit, pineapple splices, mango slices, watermelon slices, orange slice and tons of red beans. Their version of ABC does not have any strawberry syrup or condense milk like our local ABC. So you have to eat the ice with the red bean (which tasted sweet) to get the taste of it.

My stone pot bibimbap came in a very hot stone. In it contained a bowl of white rice with a raw egg in the middle, alongside some mushrooms, cucumber slices, carrot slices and chicken pieces. Once I mixed it with homemade special sauce, immediately the dish became colorful. The sauce coating deliciously around the rice, it was very spicy and salty at the same time. The cucumber and carrot slices gave a sweet taste. The mushroom was juicy.
