A place with all under one roof featuring local delights and Western cuisines. This was my second time here after a good few years and very unlucky of me as the tree house was closed for renovation. I didn't call in for tree house reservation on my first visit. Settled on gazebo instead. A raised platform with low table, shoes off and sitting cross-legged.Fragrant butter rice served with kampung fried chicken, beef rendang and spicy shrimp. Fragrant butter rice served with kampung fried chicken, beef rendang and spicy shrimp. The beef rendang is very tender with the right mixture of spices whereas the shrimp is overcooked. The deep fried chicken wing is too dry but flavourful.

Spicy fried rice with chicken meat, egg, prawns & 2 sticks of satay. Non-spicy also available. The fried rice is tasteless and the satay doesn't taste like satay at all but more like deep fried chicken breast meat to me.

The sambal with just the right sweetness goes perfectly with the rice, fragrant with little coconut milk and the usual condiments of hard-boiled egg, anchovies, peanuts and cucumber. The sambal sotong is very well done; fresh and not overcooked. Very generous with the sambal with ample onions to add flavour and taste but only five small pieces of sotong in it. The nasi lemak came with a choice of beef / chicken rendang or sambal sotong.

A bit oily and would expect stronger anchovies taste otherwise just plain flour fritters. They do offer other traditional snacks such as steamed tapioca served with snowy white grated coconut and anchovies sambal at RM 5 per serving. Poached cockles also available at RM 8.90 per serving.

The ABC has the usual treasures under the shaved ice topped with strawberry ice cream. However, the soaked basil seeds gave a refreshing feeling to it. We ordered Lemon Grass RM 5.90, Cendol RM 8.90, Apple Asam Boi RM 8.90 and Banana Milk Shake RM 8.90. I would say their desserts and drinks are over-priced and it just ordinary stuffs.

Green plants and trees all around with the sound of running water definitely give a calming atmosphere. As the night goes by, soothing music will be in the air. A nice hangout place overall. The only concern will be mosquito especially on rainy or hot sunny day.
