If any restaurant in KL could be described as Chaplinesque, it might be Mulberry, thanks to portraits of the silent film star that stir a striking sense of nostalgia. The rib-eye might prove too thin & tough, though the kitchen cooks this exactly medium-rare. Returning to Mulberry, where we leave no leaf unturned in hopes of reviving our salad days. Roast beetroot, feta, buffalo mozzarella, pomelo, asparagus, walnuts and honey lime dressing. Crisp? Check. Tangy? Totally. Satisfying? So. Nicoise salad, with peppered white tuna, baby potatoes, baby beans, olives, tomatoes and honey mustard mayo.
