Although a lot of the items we ordered all turned out pretty good, I find the Rack of Lamb just average. Perhaps their forte is in steaks and fishes because the rack of lamb was a little too dry. It has that nice smoky taste but the meat is flaky and a little tough to chew. Still the sauce is really outstanding, with mint taste to dispel any strong flavours from the lamb that not many can take. I really can't compliment enough about the Rib Eye Steak at Memphis Bistro. It came served with Blue Cheese sauce which has such a sharp deep strong flavour and matches well with the beef cut. Memphis Bistro is a place where the steak is very well cooked. When you ask for medium cooked steak, you get exactly that. I love the Sirloin with Goose Liver which tasted really moist with the juices rushing out with every bite. I could taste the fresh texture of the meat and really liked the goose liver paired with it. This little bistro is a rare find. The food menu is a well researched one that has enough variations to cater to different tastebuds. I tried their Pan Fried Toothfish, a type of patagonian yellowtail fish. It was a lucky pick as I enjoyed every bite of it. The flesh was super soft and felt like chewing into butter. The thing with chowders is they are supposed to be creamy. But the seafood chowder at Memphis really amazed me. It was not only creamy but also tasted like a dessert with a thick consistency and cheesy taste. There were generous amount of diced seafood in the chowder like squid, clams and crabstick and the chowder has a savoury mildly salty taste. It was really too heavy for me and is actually good enough for a light meal.

Here is a Rack of lamb with mint pesto served with roasted potatoes and fresh vegetables, cost RM48.00 before tax. Love it!
, Although, the cake shall go with ice cream but I preferred it to have it alone to taste better of the bitter sweet dark chocolate. The ice cream may be better for those who do not like the bitter sweet taste.

In terms of the decoration items of this cake, it is quite similar to the Banana Foster Bread pudding, such as ice cream, whipped cream with strawberry were used.

Certainly this is a highly recommended dessert in the entire dessert menu.

The next dish was Breast of chicken Madison from the Ala carte menu, pan fried golden brown, laced with forest mushroom sauce and set with a grilled prawn, cost RM23.00 before tax. The chicken breast was pan fried so nicely done with great aroma as well as the grilled prawns which was on a medium size and fresh. I nearly gobbled the whole grilled prawn alone, the moment the dish was being served on our dining table. The mushroom sauce on the pan fried chicken breast made it easy to cut and juicy. A satisfying meal indeed.

We had Sirloin steak, cost RM55.00 before tax, the portion of the Sirloin was just good for one. It was made with classic butter and served with fine herbs with garden of vegetables and topped with mushrooms. A tidy presentation indeed and the Sirloin steak smell so tempting. The meat was so tender as well as juicy made it easy to chew and soft to swallow.

The presentation was the same as the Pan Fried Toothfish whereby braised potatoes and braised spinach served minus the mushroom. The fish served was very fresh and cooked to the right temperature.
