For us, a few sips of the tea and smooth icy dessert from Meet the Fresh would carry out the task pretty efficiently

Honey Bean with Brown Sugar Cake Bean Curd entices me more with its silky bean curd. Soya aroma is soothingly pampering, with sweet red beans. Oh by the way, look! I found another cheese delights, Iced Blended Cream Cheese! Yea, it might be bit mind boggling, but who cares, once awhile to try out something new? That would just enrich your life in a much more amusing way! (=

The Taro Dessert Bowl is a joy to have too! The staff is so nice that he actually gives me some extra helping on the taros

Anyhow, there are still other choices for you to choose from, be it cold or hot version. And the Melon Drink is actually quite rejuvenating, same goes with the Black Tea too.

It has been a while since my last dessert review. Taiwanese desserts have been really popular lately, not exactly my favourite, but I will never turn down a nice bowl of sweet iced dessert. The Taro Balls Desserts 4 came looking real pretty with four different flavours. We had these taro balls which were soft, and chewy, just the way I like. It was a tad bit unfortunate that the sweetness level was too low, which may be healthy, but I love my desserts sweet!

To quench our thirst while we were sitting through the press conference where Malaysia Meet Fresh director, Mr Danny Lim gave his speech, we were treated to their Winter Melon Tea with Mini Taro Balls. I like this drink, as it was refreshing, with enough sweetness to keep me drinking until I got to those small taro balls. I do recommend this drink for those looking for a refreshing drink.

Served next was Meet Fresh's signature Herbal Jelly or better known as "guai lin gao". To fully enjoy this dessert, we were given a small cup of fresh cold milk, which I poured happily all over the herbal jelly. Again, it would have been much better had there been more sugar in this dessert. I would think most Malaysians love their desserts sweet, and serving a "healthy" less sugar dessert just doesn't quite hit the taste buds.

Signature Mochi with Taro Ice CreamIndeed, the jelly that is laid on top of the blended ice bed, is really silky and flavourful! It has got the intense aroma of the nice tea whilst being really elastic, unlike the usual jelly stripes. Coming alongside is the chewy mochi balls which are in small cubes. The ice cream is quite smooth and comes with pleasant aroma of yam too. Should you need more milkiness, you could add in the accompanied cream to spice up the dessert a little more
Seems like there is another good alternative other than taro balls

Just before I call it a day after work, I decided to drop by for a bowl of chilling dessert. I picked the Signature Mochi with Taro Ice Cream, as recommended by the staff, before this menu ceased starting 6th of August. There is this promotion on Mochi On Board that is set to run for a month to pique the interest of new and regular patrons.

Though Meet Fresh at Pavilion KL is located at a pretty high floor(6th floor at the very top) and it's location is awkwardly position right in the middle between the 2 ends of the mall (which has more traffic flow because of the escalators).. nevertheless fans of delicious Taiwanese desserts will definitely find a way to get this kiosk. With a few table seatings, service's quick and breezy. I love their desserts; especially the Taro Ball series. Make sure you get one with the Sweet Potato + Bar

I'm back for more Meet Fresh desserts! This time I ordered the Taro Balls dessert number 1 ( with a mixture of green bean, lotus, taro and pearl). Ags usual this dessert was served on a bed of crushed ice. The taro balls is chewy and tasty. As refreshing as it was, I found this dessert to be on the sweet side, sweeter than the herbal jelly. But I finished the whole bowl anyway.

Mr. and Mrs.Fu originated from Central Taiwan, the best way to preserve traditional taste of desert is cooking it in a traditional way. Their mythology of freshly made, cooked and served has made them one of Taiwan's most popular dessert shops with more than 100 stores and expanding. I ordered the Taro Balls series which includes Taro + Red Beans + Pearls. Unlike other taro balls which is too chewy, this one is just right and I can taste a big chunk of taro ball in my mouth which is good!

Like any other Taiwan dessert shop, Meet fresh running in self collection system as well. A buzzer to alarm you once your order is ready. the candied taro was really impressive. outer was rather soft and inner was so chewy. the sugar syrup really infused well into the taro. No worries, it taste merely in mild sweet level.Frankly, my order was a milk shave ice. i was expecting it would be a seasoned ice block to be sharpened by the snow ice sharpener. Frankly, my order was a milk shave ice. i was expecting it would be a seasoned ice block to be sharpened by the snow ice sharpener. But then, it simply slathered some creamer and sugar syrup on top of the tasteless shaved ice.
more advisable to try their taro.

Both of them offer "Herbal Jelly with taro balls" as their signature, but I have decided to try something different, which is the honey beans + herbal jelly + pearls + ??? but it is numbered as 315 off the menu.

I liked it as it wasn't very sweet and the chewy ingredients were definitely interesting. However, I am not a fan of pearls, so it would be better without them, just my personal preference! Will definitely come back for more as they offer a great variety of refreshing desserts but I only have one stomach haha.
