Hidden among the almost all empty shop lots at Zenith, I manage to stumble upon a humble, French-owned bakery. It's like Alice in Wonderland because the bakery looks quite cute from the outside. I was a bit surprise when I found that only a small part in the bakery is selling pastries. I suppose it's main service is to cater cakes for hotels? Not too sure.I settled with an apple cake as it looks tempting from the fridge. The patissier did warn me that the recipe went wrong with it but I insisted
I settled with an apple cake as it looks tempting from the fridge. The patissier did warn me that the recipe went wrong with it but I insisted on it. It tasted fresh and moist at first but after leaving it for a few minutes, it starts to hardened up. The taste wasn't too sweet, it wasn't something I'm used to. I would prefer it to be more supple. I would give it another try with the right recipe.
