One day after a business meet-up with a client, I decided to take a moment out of my workday to have lunch on my own at Ben's. It had been a long while since my last visit to the restaurant so I thought why not indulge in a nice plate of pasta for the day. As always I was greeted with the restaurant manager that led me to my table almost instantly. I asked for a nice quiet corner where I can enjoy my latest read while I dined and thankfully the man was accomodating. Something I really like about

The beef patty was chunky, and barely tender - a little too dry for my liking. The fries were thoroughly and completely unexciting. Salad was a nice touch, though hard to navigate and consume.Service was terrible - almost impossible to get attention or even a fill of water, and took my food away before I am done without asking.

The restaurant serve Asian and Western food, also, wide variety of drinks which include alcoholic and also coffee. This flat white is serve with coffee art on it, very beautiful! The coffee taste is very strong too, the combination of the coffee and milk is just nice. Like! There are a lot of waitress working here, when you sit down, they will serve a glass of plain water and they are very polite. The environment here is nice too.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, it is very cozy. There are a lot of wooden long table and chairs outside the restaurant which serve you bar menu eg. alcoholic drinks. There are a lot of staff working here. The menu variety available from Asian to Western, also sandwiches. This sandwiches set we ordered using home made breads, it is toasted with ham and cheese, it is a bit crunchy at the bread and the cheese is melted, the taste is very good. This restaurant is nicely decorated, it is very cozy. The menu variety from asian to western and some small bites available, price is high. The service here is acceptable, a lot of staff working here but they are not very alert. The fish and chips that I ordered portion is very filling, the fish is coated with flour and deep fried, the meat inside is juicy and fresh, the mayonnaise is a must to eat together with the fish and they only give very little of it. So there I was at Ben's Publika after an event. It was part of their lunch buffet spread. The first picture shows the roasted chicken, with pasta and potatoes. Served hot, and with Lingham's chilli sauce, it had a sweet tangy taste. I did like the way Ben's prepared their pasta without being too oily. My second dish, includes the "pai tee" from Ben's. Served in these cute top hats, it was crispy and had a nice taste when popped into the mouth. Pretty good and recommended.

With such variety of choices on the menu, ben's is considered quite a potential choice when it comes to selections with both asian and western menu. So far, the asian menu is what I really like and this other dish that I love is the Curry Laksa which is not cheap for a dish you can easily get by the street or in any hawker centers. Wild Mushroom Spaghettini with Mascarpone. It was very similar to Plan B's Wild Mushroom Pasta, cooked together with small pieces of lemon and scented with truffle oil, but with some sauce. The portion was relatively smaller than Plan B's as well, but it was very filling for me. 这个其实我也忘了叫什么名称。这个面粉皮里面包着大量的蔬菜还有鸡肉在里头。因为有很多蔬菜的关系所以吃起来特别的清爽。鸡肉当然也很滑嫩。不要看它分量好像很少，吃起来很饱的

朋友都说这里的奶油意大利面很好吃。既然来到这里就点了一份。吃了下去感觉还还好罢了。可能培根比较咸的关系，所以味道都比较清淡，不过奶油味很浓郁，分量很大里面还有很香浓

这个充满芝士气的料理真的是很好吃。对于我这个芝士爱好者来说真是一道好料理啊。芝士的味道非常的浓郁，而且一点也不觉得很腻的感觉。里面的配料还很丰富，旁边的沙拉也很新鲜

Macadamia Cheesecake Sundae @ RM11.90I always thought it will be a piece of cheese cake with macadamia nuts, but until one day my cousin order this which makes me delighted to try it. It's actually a glass of sundae of vanilla ice cream and stuff with cubes of cheese cake at the bottom and top. Finished by generous of macadamia nuts and caramel liquid on top. Each spoonful you got a taste of crunchy nuts, salty cheese and cooling ice cream in the mouth. This is really fantastic.

Lemon Meringue Tart @ RM10.90Usually afternoon tea will need some desserts or cakes to bite on while chatting with friends. Ben's has lots of varieties of cakes too. Walk to the counter and pick what is available. The lemon meringue tart caught my eye with the striking yellow and burnt spiky cream on top.The first mouthful really enlightened me because the taste is so sourish and sweetness altogether. Mouth watering that makes me keep eating. The tart at the side is crunchy like crunched biscuit

Belgian Fries @ RM9.90Belgian fries is one of my favourite side order at Ben's. The shape is unique and i usually will bite it according to the lines for fun. The fries are well fried with the flavourful powder. Some of the potato skin is still visible, so fresh and crispy. Once started one piece is really hard to stop. Dip it with the special tartar sauce brings it up to another level of taste. Yummy !
