This place has got to be my favorite to go, whenever I have cravings for thai food. Basil Thai Nudle Bar always does a good job in whipping up some of the tastiest Thai delicacies around KL. My personal favorite dishes to have here are the Pineapple Fried Rice and the Green Curry Chicken. The Green Curry Chicken here is fiery and had the right amount of spiciness to it. The gravy that comes accompanied with it is creamy and punches with flavour. I gotta reckon that with a bowl of white rice, that dish will surely be left with nothing behind. Moving on, I had a fair share to sample the Stir Fried Chicken with Basil leaves dish. Throw in a serving of white rice and a fried egg, here you go, a complete meal on its own. Dinner was very satisfying as the food here is always above my expectations. Fiery, spicy and flavourful! continue reading

Green curry laksa with a side of luscious green vegetables and bean sprouts. You can mix the noodles together with the sauce and vegetables. The green curry which was abit on the sweet side had a lot of chicken and vegetables.Whereas the stir fried spaghetti seafood was initially spicy but I opted for non- spicy and tasted equally food as well. It's like a typical Chinese fried noodles.the pineapple fried rice was so fragrant and u get a choice of chicken or prawn.  continue reading

I love Thai minced meat with basil - it's called "phad kha phau"; and this one is chicken. Sadly, this is a halal restaurant, so I had to settle with chicken. But it was still good. Very fragrant, almost like eating perfume, but in a pleasant way. Egg was runny and not overcooked. A bit pricey for the portion though. Bangsar ma. continue reading

A quirkily decorated, colourful outlet with a pleasant view from the window. Steamed seafood otak-otak. Very yummy; rich, smooth and not too spicy. "Crab shells" stuffed with chicken & cashews. Despite their deceptive name, the crab cakes were a winner in terms of taste. Bonus points for not being oily. Green curry beef. Pretty average, but still good enough to finish. Black olive fried rice with chicken. Maybe we were just really hungry, but we also liked this a lot. This place certainly isn't stingy with its ingredients. continue reading
