if you are at aseana for tea time, you can try these light snackspopiah goreng is a nice savory snack to haveit is easy to share because there are several pieces in one servingit comes with the same chili sauce that aseana uses to pair with lekor and samosa another light snack would be the sup tulang or oxtail soupthis is a popular malay traditional dish but bear in mind to eat it when it is warm because the oil will coagulate on the top when it gets coldit is served with a piece of toast bread so that you can dip it in the soup continue reading

Aseana Ice Tea Tarik. Aseana is deemed as the high-class restaurant that serves local food, I agree with the statement as a normal nasi lemak is very pricey here. The ice tea tarik obviously was over-priced too. However, it tasted quite good despite the price. It came in 3 layers: tea, milk and sugar. It had to be mixed thoroughly. It was slightly sweet and not too diluted. continue reading

Cappucino kat sini kira tahap ok la kot sebab cawan kecil sangat. Tak padan dengan harga..huhu...agak mahal bagi aku. Nasib orang belanja..haha.. Bagi aku kurang pekat. Tak berapa ummpphh...Kalau setakat nak santai-santai, boleh la lepak sini sebab tempatnya pun agak privacy berbanding Dome, Starbucks dan yang lain-lain tu. Orang pun tak ramai lalu-lalang depan ni. continue reading

Aseana Cafe has developed a bad reputation, but the food isn't THAT awful. Keropok lekor. Very generous portion, though it tasted more of flour than fish. Gado-gado, comprising assorted veggies, squid, egg and peanut sauce. Everything was fresh and crunchy, but the mix wasn't flavourful enough to compete with, say, Subak's. Marble cheesecake, chocolate brownie and carrot cake. Decent but unmemorable. Iced Cappuccino & Aseana White (coconut milk, blackgrass jelly, brown sugar). continue reading
