It is good to share a bowl of dumpling when you are having wantan mee. The dumpling was very huge but the fillings was practically laid flat on the skin. The skin was very smooth and easily slurp it in. The fillings was very crunchy and chunky. I believe the ratio of white radish was the contributing factor. I did not taste much of meat in it but vegetables, which was not filling enough. As a snack, it is good enough I would like more meat though.

For those whom have not tried Menglembu wantan mee, be prepared of its extra dose of sweetness as we are so used to the savory-oriented wantan mee. The texture of wan tan mee was very chewy and springy, which was the quality I look for in wantan mee. The texture of the wantan mee worked well with the slightly thicker sauce for dry wan tan mee. The char siew was lovely; it was flaky and smooth, almost melted in my mouth. Bean sprouts was a good addition for the sweeter rendition of wantan mee, an

Eat it with the chili to balance the sweetness which might be too overwhelming for some. The wantan was not skimpy and loaded with generous fillings. Moreover the skin was very smooth to slurp it in.

Here at Annie 1, you can get menglembu wantan mee and not only that, you get to choose stew pork rib as your topping instead of wantan or char siew. The stew pork rib was really tender and soft that it did not require much effort for me to rip it off the bone. The wantan mee was slightly thicker than usual wan tan mee. It tasted like the usual wan tan mee and the texture was similar too. The sauce used to toss the wantan mee was sweeter and thicker. For me, it was something quite new and I found

The char siew was ultra tender and melty, with loads of melted pork fat goodness. Okay, not the healthiest of meals but can't say I didn't thoroughly enjoy it. Even the sui kaos were big and juicy.

I like that they have a service bell you can press - no having to endure the frustration of not being able to get quick service. That's good, because it can get very crowded here, even at 2.30pm on a weekend afternoon... and I can see why now!

The brown (salty) and white (sweet) glutinous rice listed under the dessert section of their menu sounded very enticing - in fact enticing enough that I thought this would be a great meal on its own. It's a little misleading, though, because "salty" actually meant savoury; and that means it's not really dessert! The sweet one is more gooey with sweet kaya topping. I found it a bit too much sweetness and starchiness in a single item.

On their own, both were good; but I don't think they should really be served together!

The Dry Wanton Noodle with Wanton is their famous dish. The noodle tastes just nice as it is tangy and they cook the noodles well. I love their wanton! Their wanton is always fresh.

Besides that, they also serve dry curry noodles. This is not very spicy but a bit oily.

This is a great place to hang out for breakfast or lunch or dinner. It is suitable for group dining! The food ranges from RM4.50 to RM7.50 while the drinks are around 2.00 and above.

Their service is also good. They have enough number of waiters in the shop. We do not need to wait for long time to get served.

Good food with reasonable price and great environment!
