As a group of fresh graduates from Hong Kong, we went to Sabah for our graduation trip.Wisma Merdeka was our first stop in Sabah for exchanging currency and we decided to have lunch here as well.Heard that AH LIM PENANG MEE UDANG is quite famous for the prawn noodle, so we went there and ordered 2 Prawn noodle 檳城蝦麵 and 1 Prawn noodle in Curry favor 咖哩蝦面 for sharing among 5 of us. It's just 7MYR each (ard 15HKD) which is really cheap but with a big serving!Prawn noodle 檳城蝦麵: The noodle smells really gooud and soup is super delicious! I missed it so much.Prawn noodle in Curry favor 咖哩蝦面: This one smells as good as the above one. But for me, it's too spicy My friends all said this one taste really good as well.For the Drinks, we knew that milk tea 拉茶 is famous in Sabah. However, none of us could understand the drink meun and the staff can't speak Cantonese and didn't understand what is milk tea, so we used all our body languages and acted the "pulling tea" action to the staff. Luckily, they understood us and taught us how to pronouce the drink we want, whcih is Teh Tarik (3.5 MYR) (The sound is like Tee Ta-Li)Teh Tarik (No. 15 in the menu): Taste really nice! My fds even rated it as the best one among all other Teh Tarik we have tried in other restaurants!With those delicious food & drinks & low price, I must try it again if I travel to Sabah again!
